    Looking foward to the fights. Hopefully we won't be unfortunate enough to lose all the Q-Final fights and we get a medal. Boxing leading the show for us as I predicted

    2 all after the 1st round, both fighters showing respect to each other. Thought Barnes missed out on at least 1 score though

    Barnes 7-5 up after the 2nd round. Looked like he had the Pole in trouble mid-way through the round.

    Barnes 9-5 up now - looks like he's in control. He came out flying in the 3rd, threws a heap of punches after the bell, didn't score but he sure let the Pole know he wanted to fight and not run.

    2 minutes away from it he's being told by Billy Walsh. Go on Paddy!

    Little fact for you. Barnes was the 100th fighter to box for Ireland in the Olympics and wins our 10th medal. A great return by any standard

    Great defence by Barnes and stuck to his game plan all the way through which really frustrated the Pole. Let's not be content with the bronze now.

    Because they don't make losing semi finalists fight for bronze. It'd be too much to ask if thye got a heavy beating in the semi.
