A light dapple of frost on the cars right now in the run up to the summer solstice, whats going on with this weather!

Lovely afternoon here today with a top temperature of 18.2c

Slight shower at 10am gave me a 0.2mm top up. Breezy throughout the day, though much calmer this evening.

Decent so far but only because of the calming influence of the approaching front. It'll start filling in soon I expect.

    Risk of flooding on saturday night-Sunday;
    "Issued at 20 June 2008 - 10:22
    Weather advisory
Periods of heavy rain are expected during Saturday and Sunday. In general, rainfall accumulations of 20 to 30mm are likely during the 48 hour period and may reach as high as 40 to 50 mm in places."

"it will be a mild, misty, murky night on Saturday night with further showers or longer spells of heavy rain. The rain will continue for a time on Sunday, still quite heavy at times, with some spot flooding,"

Only turned on the pc at circa 9am
It seems to have only taken only some of the data-I don't know why.

Rain rates prior to this are miss ing  including the 17mm/hr + rain rate

Davis now recorded 15.5mm rain rate 8.8mm/hr though weather display has 12.7mm
I presume the missing total is the rain prior to starting up WS.
Time for serious update of programme and overhaul I think.
However the now 15.7mm total is the accurate figure.

As I type this has eased to 5.6mm/hr

This does happen BB if starting up during heavy rain. Also check on WD and also on weatherlink that you have 1min uploads intervals.
Your version of WD your using is prehistoric tbh.

    I know :o

Rain rate back up to 12.2mm/hr

    Total now 17.5mm

Davis console is now at 18mm
    Rain rate is 8.1mm

I added the difference to WD just now so it should rise corresponding to the rain rate.
    7.6mm/hr as I type total now 18.3mm

Later today I'll try update w display.I've to go back working in that rain now :(

Snowbie if you could, would you pm me an exact link to the download for the new WD.
Mines registered obviously so it should be straightfoward and the help thread on the forum too thanks :) (Brians Forum)
