I just had the forms filled out and brought them with me. I even went to specsavers and got them to do the eye test and stamp the eyetest form. although not sure that you need to as theres an eyetest in the medical
.
as regards to the test its hearing eyesight blood pressure, movement in your arms and legs and checking for back pain. they listen to your chest as well. drink some water before you go in too you've got to give a urine sample.
best stay off the drink and the fags for a day or two before you go
as long as your in fairly average health should be fine. best of luck with it anyway lad0 -

Sounds alright! Smoke feck all but il give them a miss for a couple of days and mine is on a wednesday so il just go out the sat night! Ah im fairly fit so should be sound!
No dont think the specsavers thing was necessary but what harm like!

Some lads heard monday last week, i heard last thurs so theres big enuf gaps between them! I wouldn worry! Hopefully ul hear something soon! Im in mayo too so taught it might be the same day they ring us for the galway medicals though!
Ya I know some lads that got called last Friday for the medicals......... I just don't understand whats taking so long to get word back from them.... 0 -
