i personally hope that jerry yang wins it, great for poker worldwide if he does. but i fancy lam, he has changed his game today, gone from being the most agressive player at the table to being really quiet, he will explode into action when it goes three handed.

    whta dya think, flush draw?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 780 ✭✭✭Captain Tom

the gap between Yang and the field is getting smaller and smaller. he dominates the table, wins lots of small pots, then doubles up the short stack about once an hour. lol donkaments.

Big hand there. Jerry's QQ loses to Rahmes AQ.

    Lololol
Corey zeidman just told the worst story ever.
He was the slowrolling cnut who in 2005 main event slowrolled a straight flush against Jennifer Harmon also a big huge donk on HSP3.
He starts going off on some weird dentist story tangent which has no connection with the hand.
He then gives a stunning strategy discussion on the hand, "I knew Jennifer was strong and she checked to me so I decided to just bet 1000 into a 5000 pot" haha.
Even Phil Gordon was ripping into him
    What an fool.

Why is Phil constantly going on about Jerry's skill level?
He got off to a nervous start playing a ton of hands and made a horrible call with JT but IMO he's playing the best poker.

Kravchenko gone, AK vs Yangs 88, Yang flopped a set.

    Yang 67M, Rahme 36M, Lam 24M

After waiting 7 hours for an elimination we eventually got one, Alex gone w/ AK v Jerry's 88 AIPF.
Now i'm rooting for Jerry and I don't think he's Moneymaker/Gold type winner he's showing aggression in all the right spots.

howya nicky, he has been the quietest player at the table, but at one stage he got all his chips in with kq against a10 for yang and doubled through, not much more than that

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,533 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

    Rahme out to Jerry Yang

"I have a lot of respect for you". classic stuff....

i cant believe my eyes, how did he call with a5, this is unreal

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 388 ✭✭mrflash

i still wouldnt rule out the comeback, i went for lam to win earlier on.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,646 ✭✭✭cooker3

c/r all in against a calling station on a A high flop with kings is fairly awful

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 388 ✭✭mrflash

i agree, but how did he call with a5, i mean, i wouldnt even be thinking about making that call against a muppet, i would be waiting for a better place. incredible call, he has done it so often, and he has been ahead most times.

Ramme talked himself into getting called
He should have kept his mouth shut and I think his raise would have got through.!!
