    - WWE sent out a survey on Friday asking fans for feedback on potential DVD releases. Among the suggested names were Sting, Brock Lesnar, the NWO, Bruno Sammartino, Steve Austin, The Rock, Randy Orton, Edge, Triple H, Jerry Lawler, CM Punk, The Miz, Ted DiBiase Sr., the WWE Divas and Gorgeous George.

Event specific DVD's suggested were The Greatest Moments at Madison Square Garden, The Brutal History of the I Quit Match, The Money in the Bank Anthology, The Best of Tuesday Night Titans, The Best of Shotgun Saturday Night, King of the Ring, Tough Enough Season 1 with Steve Austin and a Tables, Ladders & Chairs Compilation.

WWE also asked fans what content they would be interested in the most in a potential Superstar specific DVD or Blu-ray. The options were:

    * Documentary about the Superstar's life story
    * Behind the scenes footage of the Superstar away from the ring
    * A collection of the Superstar's career-spanning matches

WWE also asked how interested fans would be in purchasing DVD's or Blu-ray's from the following libraries:

    * WCW, ECW (original), AWA , WCCW (World Class), Florida Championship Wrestling, Smoky Mountain Wrestling.

    * The '70s, Rock 'n' Wrestling (Hulkamania), The Attitude Era.

jaysus! 'sale' is not the by-word lol. Silvervision have 'em much cheaper. Unless there's a sale on specific items, high street dublin is such a ****in' rip off!

    Sting - yes please
    Brock Lesnar - no thanks
the NWO - done properly yes with everything and bits on LWO and BWO would be nice
Bruno Sammartino and Gorgeous George - yes please but probably wouldn't sell that well
Steve Austin, The Rock, Randy Orton, Edge, Triple H - done to death no need for anymore
    Jerry Lawler - maybe
CM Punk, The Miz - too early in career wait several years
    Ted DiBiase Sr.- yes please
the WWE Divas - no thanks

The Greatest Moments at Madison Square Garden, The Brutal History of the I Quit Match, The Money in the Bank Anthology, King of the Ring, Tough Enough Season 1 with Steve Austin and a Tables, Ladders & Chairs Compilation.

None of the above but the 2 below would be nice

The Best of Tuesday Night Titans, The Best of Shotgun Saturday Night,

WWE also asked fans what content they would be interested in the most in a potential Superstar specific DVD or Blu-ray. The options were:

    * Documentary about the Superstar's life story
    * Behind the scenes footage of the Superstar away from the ring
    * A collection of the Superstar's career-spanning matches

    Don't like documentarys

WWE also asked how interested fans would be in purchasing DVD's or Blu-ray's from the following libraries:

    * WCW, ECW (original), AWA , WCCW (World Class), Florida Championship Wrestling, Smoky Mountain Wrestling.

Not interested unless its unavailable in other circles if you know what I mean

Matt Striker and Maria talk in forgettable segments between matches, theres some history packages with matches but generally it's all matches. Some promos as extras.

Still, for 8 quid its the best wrestling DVD deal I've ever seen.

"The Best of Shotgun Saturday Night" would be brilliant! Does anyone even remember that? :D

They tried to recreate the atmosphere of the ECW bingo hall around New York City in subway stations and bars. They set up a smaller than usual ring - and one that didn't look as sturdy. Had Vince McMahon and Sunny at a small announce table buried in the crowd somewhere and they just had random matches that had little to do with any working angles they had at the time. The matches were often quite short under 10 minutes.

Steve Austin having a tussle with Terry Funk appears to be the highlight.

Any report back from that survey?

More DVDs from the 80s and earlier, per-Hulkamania kinda stuff would be good. Bob Backlund kinda thing ye know.

A DVD of just tag matches from the 80s would be great.

A Sting DVD will have to be done at some point. Getting that Brock Lesnar/Kurt Angle iron man match onto a DVD is a must. More compilations of WCW (with Jesse Ventura commentary!) or ECW would be good.

I'd like to see a change in their documentaries away from Vince McMahon rewriting history to include a more "warts and all" approach. Not gonna happen though.

There's a few matches I think of from around the mid-late 90s that haven't made it on to any compilation. The Final Four match from In Your House 13 which was fantastic. Taka Michinoku vs Great Sasuke from In Your House 16 should have been on the "highest flyers" disc. Bret Hart vs Steve Austin at In Your House 14 is worth a watch, surprised that didn't make it onto any compilations. I seem to recall hearing that the Goldberg/Scot Hall ladder match frmo Souled Out 99 was very good but that hasn't been put out. For those who can't get tagged classics it must be killing them not being able to see the Jericho/Triple H last man standing match from Fully Loaded 2000.

There's extreme rarities like this Shawn Michaels vs Goldust ladder match from 1996 that I am sure they have footage of -look at the cameras around ringside - http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x648yr_shawn-michaels-vs-goldust-ladder-ma_sport. There was also one of the first ever three way matches in WWF from 1997 that hasn't surfaced - Michaels vs Sid vs Bret Hart.

Just thought i would mention that Sivervision has a mini stock clearance sale on some PPV DVDs and the Batista 3 disk. When there gone there gone.

watched the spectacular legacy of the awa last night, quite enjoyed it. Greg Gagne's a bit of a mark for the AWA and Verne seemed in denial about how bad it got, funny seeing vince play the holier than thou card as well.
