A FRESH investigation has begun into the sighting of an unidentified flying object over Wilmslow 30 years ago.

Researchers are going through files from 1966 when the “craft” was spotted by a policeman behind Hoopers on Alderley Road.

The close encounter was by PC Colin Perks who saw the image with his own eyes while on duty in the town centre.

They are all figments of our fertile imagination i say.
We are the only ones - god made Adam and Eve, and the Earth. There are no aliens, the universe is devoid of everytihng except us - there cannot possibly be any aliens, because they would not have come from Adam and Eve.

The 7 days of creation do not mention any other alien things. so they cannot exist. -

thats my take on it ..

oh yeah, btw, the earth is flat - it has to be, burn anyone at the steak who blasphemes, and says it is round, and rotates around the sun! :¬)

UFOs do exit, they dont have to be alien in origin, anything that is seen in the sky and cannot be identified is classed as a ufo!
Also alien life has been found already, it may not be the walking talking type but microscopic bactria was found a few years ago in a meteor that came to earth!

If you're looking for solid evidence of extraterrestrial life, the best place to find it might be out in a national park, or on a vendor's table or, better yet, on an online auction site. The Web site http://www.marslife.com, whose owner is listed as Mike Moore of Amarillo, Texas, claims to have discovered numerous samples of alien life (not even fossilized, just dried) on what it calls the "Frass meteorite," which supposedly has been traced back to Mars. Among the life forms supposedly discovered in it are a Martian spider, a black worm, a Martian flower, and even a mysterious "Martian bugger," all of which are supposed to be 13 million years old and are being covered up by the powers that be. Fragments of the supposed Martian meteorite were offered for sale on the online auction site eBay last July for "just $5,000," and an "alien flying insect" for "just $1,000,000." The seller isn't saying if these prices were actually obtained.

Hi, Firstly, let me apologise if I caused any offence. My point was completely mis-interpreted. What I was trying to do was to generate a discussion about how we handle people who are so entrenched in their beliefs that the earth was created in 7 days by god, and Adam and Eve were the first two people to inhabit it.

I meet resistance all the time, and complete hostility sometimes when I mention alien life, by these same people. They belong with the group who believe the earth is flat, and we will fall off the edge if we sail too far.

For the record, I am convinced without doubt that we are not alone, but I do think that some of our visitors are possibly interdimensional rather than extraterrestrial, but I can only speculate.

There have been such dramatic advances in technology, computing, and the impact of this on our daily lives goes almost unquestioned. We lap up whatever the large technology companies give us, without a second thought for where it comes from, or who actually made it.

I think we now have propulsion systems and technology far beyond our capability. i am talking about zero point energy devices, which would allow propulsion systems to reduce, if not completely nullify and negate the gravitational field surrounding te craft they are installed within.

I have heard first hand many stories from engineers working within this very field who claim that these devices are physical, and working, and based upon a technology we are only beginning to get to grips with.

For now I will step back into the shadows, and read the posts. My thanks to Stevenmu, who lifted the ban on my posts, to allow me to contribute to this group again.

Once more apologies if I offended, or caused annoyance or frustration, but I will ask the question, how do you deal with it, when you are openly ridiculed by the small minded , blinkered individuals, who claim you are the work of the devil because you openly espouse the possibility that we are not alone in the universe ?

In several hundred years time, like Gallileo , we will be proven right methinks ..

I take solace in the fact that I actually do work for the Devil, when it really comes down to it. Their notion of the devil is just a hysterical personification of things that threaten their way of life, he who would tempt you away from "the path", make you question your beliefs and test your faith. did anyone see that show on channel 4 (i think) about aliens in the US

the one thing i remember from it was the presenter said near the end that when this was being shot he could hear(or felt) sonic booms and when he looked up the maps or whatever it was he seen that whatever it was flew from area 51 to new york in something like 8 seconds

Heres a photo taken by a walker on the 08/09/2006, personally i aint think its a UFO due to the trail it leaves, its very similar to a meteor which i think would be more likely! Shows how easy it is for people to jump to conclusions!

Anybody read up on these. what the situation is with the Greys ? Friendly or Foe and the whole story regards to the eisenhower meeting. How we were warned about the Greys by some Nordic looking species of Alien.

PEOPLE screamed and cars came to a halt when dozens of mysterious lights hovered thousands of feet above Archway.

The "squadron" of flying orange objects left passers-by staring skyward in disbelief at around 5.30pm last Thursday. Police received four calls within a matter of minutes.

Alix McAlister, 34, a market stall trader from Bredgar Road, Archway, said: "I just picked up my son from nursery in Bredgar Road. I had just come out of the door when I noticed what was going on in the sky.

"There were a group of them - 10 to 15 of them moving together. My first impression was that they reminded me of a squadron of aeroplanes in formation. But they didn't have a proper formation and they were all moving at the same speed.

"I thought for a while that something was happening in the centre of London. Bombs and planes crossed my mind. But I realised very quickly that they didn't look like any aircraft I'd seen before.

"They were coming from the north and moving south. And then they kind of stopped and they were hovering. There was no sound. They seemed to fade away and I saw more coming and then they stopped. It lasted about 10 minutes."

Designer James Zafar, of Palace Road, Crouch End, also watched the phenomena from Bredgar Road.

He said: "I parked the car and when I looked in the sky between the Little Angels nursery and the trees there were balls of light in the sky.

"They were all moving together. They stopped and then they came on again and there must have been about 12 of these things all moving across the sky.

Crowds also witnessed the spectacle from nearby Magdala Avenue and Highgate Hill.

Tom Cull, of Summerlee Gardens, Fortis Green, 27, a vision mixer, had just finished a guitar lesson when he noticed a crowd of people staring up at the sky in Magdala Avenue.

He said: "There were at least 30 people watching. Cars had stopped. It was kind of eerie.

"What I found strange about these things was the way they moved. The fact that they were so high would suggest they were quite big."

Mr Cull saw the lights again when he returned home to Summerlee Gardens.

Another witness, a 49-year-old company director who did not want to be named, was about to enter Archway Tube station in Highgate Hill when he saw the lights.

He said: "It was pretty spectacular. All I would say was that they were two to three thousand feet up and there was at least 30 or 40 people who would have seen this. There was screaming going on and everything. It was pretty weird."

Less than 30 minutes later similar "strange orange lights" were spotted miles away above Kings Lynn in East Anglia.



Reporter Charlotte Tamvakis tries to unravel the mystery of the 'Archway lights'

WHILE no one is in any doubt something happened in the sky above Archway last Thursday, experts are at odds over what caused the spooky sight.

The truth is out there - somewhere - and my search started with the account of eyewitness, James Zafar.

He said: "When I called 999 there was a big silence and then he came back on the phone and said we've tracked it by radar. Then he said, 'you are real really lucky, you've just seen a meteor or shooting star.'

"They definitely mentioned the radar and that leads me to think they know all about this."

But police would only confirm that they received a number of calls about the lights and that there was reference to radar and a meteor on their records. They could not say where this information came from.

And the Ministry of Defence (MOD) said it had had no reports of any "security incidents" - adding: "Unless there is evidence of a potential threat to the United Kingdom from an external source, and to date no 'UFO' report has revealed such evidence, MOD does not attempt to identify the precise nature of each reported sighting."

Time to speak to someone who knows all about what happens in the sky at night.

I contacted the Royal Astronomical Society - but it ruled out a cosmological explanation.

Press officer Peter Bond said: "It doesn't sound like aurora. Auroras are curtains of light and meteors last a few seconds and they leave a bright tail around them when they burn up. They won't last for 10 minutes.

"And it certainly couldn't be a comet either because comets don't move because they are so far away. They move position from night to night."

His conclusion was that the lights must be military aircraft or some sort of weather balloons.

Then a spokesman for the Meteorological Office ruled out weather balloons - along with any weather-related explanation.

He explained: "It's unlikely that it could have been anything to do with the weather. It was a pretty clear evening the whole night on Thursday. There were no storms or anything like that."

And astronomer and self proclaimed "UFO sceptic" Ian Ridpath also dismissed any astronomical or climatic explanations.

He believes the phenomenon was caused by "sky lanterns" or "UFO balloons" - one-off miniature hot air balloons that can be ordered online for use at parties.

Mr Ridpath said: "These things are always being reported. This very probably is the most likely explanation. What surprises me is that someone hasn't come along and said this is what they are."

And with Chinese New Year just around the corner, this certainly seems like a possible answer.

But witnesses and UFO researchers disagree.

Contact International UFO Research, based in Oxford, aims to "solve the enigma of UFOs - whether fact or fiction".

A spokesman said: "I'm not convinced by the argument. I asked witnesses if they thought there was a possibility it was lanterns and they said no."

He added: "What we try to do is get an explanation and at the moment we are still banging our heads against the wall."

Some people have even suggested the lights could be radio masts on top of Archway Tower.

But eyewitness Mr Zafar said: "They moved and then they stopped and then they moved again. They were under control. I totally disagree. I think someone is trying to dismiss the story."

And Mr Cull added: "I don't buy the balloon thing. When I first saw it, it was stationary and then it was moving above the hospital and then it moved towards the south."

For eyewitnesses of Thursday's extraordinary events at least, it seems the truth is still out there.

the site is slow due to heavy traffic - France is the first country to make its files 'public'. In the UK you can request information on specific cases through the Freedom of Information Act, but thats on request and assuming you know exactly what it is youre after. This site publicises the dossier - which is handy

And remember! - just because one is able to prove that a particular unidentified object was in fact ball lightening, or a meteorite - does not prove the non-existance of extra terestrial life.

Personaly I believe in all this but it doesnt bother me and I hope never to have another encounter. I had one clear one. Ok I didnt encounter them but I was very near(and confused)!!! If someone could explain to me what I saw that night coming home from galway id like to hear it. My sister and I were on the way home in the car with my dad, his friend and I cant remember if we had a greyhound or not but we were coming back form the races. Anyway... While we were in the car I spotted a giant light in the sky(if anyone posts back and is ignorant enough to say to me I saw the moon then I would appreicate you keep it to yourself)which im not sure if it was moving or not as it was hard to tell since the car was! I told my sister and instantly she freaked out. I can tell ya it wasnt somenthing to be calm about! It was at an angle where I know it was not on a hill and I could see the sky behind it. Anyway a few minutes later e couldnt see it anymore and we came into a village. We were passing through alot of houses and I spotted an object moving behind them just below all of the buildings. There were lights on it(not flashing)and it was moving slowly enough at a steady pace... I was really scared as was my sister so I ignored it and a few minutes later it was gone! Note I was 12 at the time and my sister 16/17! We didtn say it to our dad or his friend cause they would have just dismissed it. What do you think it was? I sometimes think the light could have benn a satelite but it was biggert than what the moon appeared as. But i cannot not eplain the object behind tose buildings!

Many people have been ringing up radio stations to say they saw lights moving quickly and then stopping, before moving on again. Lights were orange and not remotely like aircraft we are used to. Lights/ craft spotted in the sky near Apple Computers at the north side of the city and moving in towards city centre.

Twas all over the radio (Derek Mooney show) apparently.
Many people ringing in describing what they saw.

Certainly interesting and out of the ordinary.... definitely not swamp-gas refracting off of Venus.

If we put up phothgraphs of the sightings we can look at them and say it is real or not but in ireland people dont speak out about the paranormal or ufos because of catholic chu,and the military and the gov are lieing about ufos so we have to get out there and get the true'ed. So what we have to do is start up our own groups and look into it and really get information is to contact airports and get offcial responses see if there was anything detected at that time and get the military press have to say and the gov etc so our main aim here is to get as much more people know about a sighting's put them on this form because lets more people to bring forward video or photo proof, it even can prove it was a fake i know for a fact lots of ufos sightings have been fake.

Yeah. None of my friends believe me about any of this stuff. In Ireland everyone is so laaady daaaaaaaaaaaaaa no one wants to face the real reality. But the derek mooney show would be a show to talk about this stuff alright! I have seen a few things which I believed to have been comets. Orange balls moving through the sky then disappearing! I have seen three but Im presuming that they are comets! I guy I know, his dad works in the military base in Limerick. And there are literally a ton of files on alien occurences!

I would'nt call them 'alien occurences' as ufos dont have to be extra terrestrial in origin to be called ufos!

Also to this day i saw a strage occurance with four other friends in the wicklow mountains near sally gap about 4 years ago, it was pitch dark out and a clear sky, we watch for about 5 minutes as 4 object 'played' with eachother, they could'nt have been meteors or satalites as the moves and turns they made wer so sudden and sharp! To this day i can't explain it!
I found out a few months later that the area of sky we saw them in is part of what some people call the 'ufo highway' or 'alien highway' a supposed route through the galaxy like a road through space!

Hi Ziycon and Dafydd Thomas how are ye and everybody else?. First of all to Ziycon i argee 100% what you just said and what i said is the same if i went to my Garda stion or rang them or DAA or airport etc they will not listen to you or to anybody because people think you weird if you believe in the paranormal or Aliens or ufos etc, so that's why they will not take one individual serious so what i was saying was that all of us have to talk more about this and put up these forms and get people to there sightings etc so then we can but pic's videos etc so we can get them to come forward and then get the truth and i said we can make up groups that would work full time on this and other paranormal things people will take them seriously. Hello nitefox. Well I actually don't talk to this guy anymore. It was a few years back when he told me about all these files. I can tell you i was freaked for weeks after I was young like! But personally I thnk anyone here viewing these messages knows that ufos are real. And just to let everyone know im not a real feak who wants all this to be real but just a person looking for the truth! I am a bit of a know it all!

But anyway. Since we all know its true I would like to know what ye think of the eisenhower meeting and september 11th(that it was a ufo attack)??? The Eisenhower meeting is something ye should all look into as it gave me a proper outlook on the good and the bad of all this!

Also something that is also interesting me is the structures found on the Dark side of the moon that were buikt by an intelligent being.

Also I am confused about whether the moon landing ever did happen. Some theories are that extraterrestrial technology was used to reach the moon. Another that it did not happen at all and it was filmed in a studio. And another that it did happen but that the astronauts encountered intelligent beings along the way and they did not allow the public to know this.

Alll of you who are annoyed with government agencies about not releasing the information I think we should also see it from here point of view.

However the whole point of NASA is to find othe life forms but it bothers me that when they do find things out, they get scared and don't release this info to the public.

I also read somewhere that the moon is a giant ufo but I think thats just crazy!

The Irish Air Corps do Night Flying with the PC9M's at high and low level. Also you would be amazed to see how long Army flares can stay up in the Air and drift to illuminate the ground below.

If you look into it you will find that the U.S. Government fund NASA by millions if not billions every year therefore anything that if found or discovered dissappears very quick so as not to let anyone else know about it like other super powers etc.. for the simple reason that if they did find intelligent life imagin the type of technologies or weaponary that they could procure!
