It’s being reported that AJ was ‘injured’ in Sparring. Rumours are that he was sparked again.

Anyone ever used a VPN for Dazn in Ireland?
No, but apparently it doesn't work. They have some kind of complicated geoblock in place. You cannot even use a debit or credit card from outside the region (US).

German one will work but your payment method needs to be German as well.
If you can set up a German PayPal account that might work.

    Where did u hear that?

Kind of a non story, unless he was flattened...and more a non story due to us knowing that there is a weakness to AJs chin.

Be a bit like a "story" about Amir Khan getting dropped in sparring....bigger story might be him not getting dropped......?

Any boxer, at any weight during sparring can be hurt, rocked, or flattened...some, of course, easier than others.

It may have happened or it may not. If it did it did if it didn't then the “story” would come out anyhow in all likelihood. It’s common, fresh sparring partner comes in after he’s done some rounds then surely he could take a hit.

I've set it up using ExpressVPN. I set up an account on the German DAZN site. I used N26 bank account for the direct debit (Its a German bank so has the right IBAN). Once you have it set up you can then login into any of the DAZN sites - I usually go into the Canadian one. I think the US site is tricky, but the Canadian one has all the boxing/soccer/NFL

I have N26 as well but was assuming the poster needing looking to sign up didn't.;)

Will the fight be on it?

Had one for years now and never had a problem watching ppv fights,
I use Sky for normal tv but the fire stick comes out for PPV boxing and if the footy isn't on Sky ,
To be fair iv a friend who I done a lot of work over the years who sells them so he gave me the stick and set me up for free so it's not an extra cost, Its been brilliant

Just watching the one night Joshua v Ruiz thing on bbc.
    Tyson is great on it.

I’m so excited for this fight. The historical aspect of it was lost on me at the time because I was so happy to finally see Joshua getting found out.

It’ll be a fight they talk about whenever an upset like that happens. Would absolutely love Ruiz to do it again.

Watched that as well and what struck me re-watching the fight is that Joshua is going to have improve a hell of a lot to win.
Ruiz was ducking under punches, winning the exchanges when they both opened up and his confidence grew as the rounds went on. Joshua needs to land a bomb of a ko to win this I feel as I can't see him out boxing Ruiz.

It’s dear but I’m getting it. Good solid card and after the drama of the first fight it should be worth it. Plus I want to gloat about my prediction in real time!

Don't usually buy the PPVs, but the 8.45pm ring walk for the main event has me seriously thinking about it. A good undercard would seal the deal. However, when I went to PP to see the fights on the card and the odds, it had the following:

Diego Pacheco (1/100) v Levan Shonia

Ivan 'Hopey' Price (1/100) v Swedi Mohamed

Mahammadrasul Majidov (1/100) v Tom Little

Filip Hrgovic (1/50) v Eric Molina

Dillian Whyte (1/50) v Mariusz Wach

    Michael Hunter (1/2) v Alexander Povetkin (13/8)

So Hunter/Povetkin is the only fight, apart from the Main Event, where there is any doubt regarding the outcome. The other 5 favourites all being fed duds. That's very disappointing, although probably not surprising.
    Am I reading that right?

    Are you really surprised ?

It was always going to be the way , this fight sells on its own as everyone wants to see does AJ make a come back,

It makes zero sense for Hearn to put any other big fights on the card, He can keep them fights and let them headline there own cards, More money is the name of the game for Hearn ,

Make even more sense seeing as his golden cash cow could take a HUGE dent to future earning with a loss here ,

Joshua has become the B Team. Real money is in Wilder, Fury and America.

Amazing a year ago, Hearn was slagging off Wilder and how he only fights in small casinos and that any fight would be on AJs terms etc.

    Twat.

Sounds cliche but one pucnh can change the landscape

I'd still imagine AJ is making more in this fight that Wilder or Fury have in any fight to date

    ,

    This.

out of all the current HW's AJ has transcended the sport in terms of recognition in the wider population.

Massive social media presence, big sponsorship deals huge fight purses and sold out arenas and stadiums etc.

    6000 attended wilder vs brezeale

And wilder ortiz ii didn't sell out.

Wilder needs to flatten Fury before he gets the recognition he deserves imo.

It's kinda puzzling that he isn't bigger at this stage but I feel its down to the extremely slow career progression for his first 30 fights.

An Aj loss this weekend would see things start to fall apart alright but at the minute things are pretty much as they have been.
