Take into account the "street value" of any seizure is absolute bollox pulled out of the air. According to most seizures, 10k ecstacy has a street value of €125k because every dealer knows that in the 90's it used to be 1 pill was 10 pound, so 1 pill is €12.54 now.

That's how you catch the low level dealers, they can't run fast because their pockets are weighed down with all the 50c pieces for change. :rolleyes:

Two more ambulances just raced up the Oscar traynor (coming from the kilbarrack way if you get me?), into Beaumont, sirens blaring.

The Gardai cant come down hard on anybody anymore because there will be outrage over their civil liberties being infringed.

The Garda don't have the resources to sit on every person suspected to be involved in the underworld.

The gardai are not properly resourced or up to the job.

The judiciary is even more to blame here though.

A lot of these individuals should be locked up for other crimes but aren't.
