Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Brilliant I just, disabled sim 1 and managed to change my youtube premium to come from Vodafone. Did not have to physically swap the sims. A pain to do each time but worth it. Thanks

Disney+ launches 24th March, I assume Disney Life will be no more then. Fingers crossed the new one can be paid for from credit, it's €7 a month

I see that in the UK it's possible to pay on the PlayStation Store with phone credit directly. It's a shame the option isn't available here. I attempted to contact their support about it, but I'm being told that I can't access the chat because it's only available in the UK and Ireland.

Shame that company folded that you could buy credit for PSN, Xbox etc.

They are doing system upgrades. Same happened last time. I got this text during the week on my work mobile:

From Three. Service Announcement - we are updating our systems between 9pm Sun 26th Jan and 9am Tues 28th Jan 2020. Calls, texts and data are not affected during the update. Some self service and support channels will be restricted. For more details, visit 3.ie/BusDeplB

Anybody have any bother with Vodafone taking the money but Google saying payment didn't go through? I've been on to Google who says the problem is definitely at Vodafone's end and was trying to explain on Vodafone chat today and the person just kept asking to see my bank statements?

I think it's 50, as I've spent over the 30 before. Might be a monthly limit too from what I remember.

tried it today (using a three sim) and instead of the parking confirmation message I got a message asking to ring a number which was an automated payment system looking for card details.

Unfortunately it's not possible to change your sub to annual, you have to cancel the monthly first and then re-sub as annual once that one expires.

I'm waiting for my monthly to finish up in a few days, then going all annual.

I looked it up and DCB is Direct Carrier Billing

I'm with 3 and just got Shudder for a year, €47.88.

I'm trying to sub to Shudder for €47.88 but 3 is saying "Purchase exceeds transaction limit".

Has that changed now? What's the limit?

That used to be a limit a few years ago but they changed it based on the posts above. Have they reverted back to it in the last few months? Where did you read that?

Perhaps you are hitting some sort of monthly/yearly limit instead? Do you often use your credit to pay for stuff?

Nope... only thing I paid for last time was 4.99 for Shudder monthly in January.

Nothing paid this month yet as I cancelled the monthly Shudder sub.

I bought something for €33.99 with Three credit just a few days ago so the limit must be higher than that.

There might be an issue as you were a monthly subscriber to Shudder.

You might not be able to change it to annual.

Never thought this thread would explode to 1300 posts, hope you are all getting good use out of your credit!

Me personally I'm donating my credit and using coingate the odd time to rack up some ethereum

Keep with the monthly sub maybe? It's only 13 euro more a year plus it's not really money out of your pocket anyway

If I have to I will but still it'd be nice to use up the huge amount of credit I've built up.

Three might start expiring old credit or something crazy in coming months. I wouldn't put it past them.

If you're on Android the app is called alchemy, not sure if there's an ios equivalent. You pick your preferred charity and it sends the text for you

You're not on an old O2 plan by any chance, are you?

On the standard Three PAYG plan, when you top-up, that top-up credit goes into a 'queue' until you've spent all the credit that was already on the account. If after six months it's still in the queue, it's expired before you get a chance to use it.
