Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You do you, but jogging with over ear headphones, with NC enabled sounds like a good way to get hit by a car.

They do seem pretty secure on my head so I bet it would work. I just wouldnt recommend.

Personally I find sweat is death for headphones. I bought a pair of waterproof Phillips ear buds I use exclusively for running / gym.

Sorry I meant in a gym. Just to see if th le constant movement increased the loud pop noise .

After following their instructions mine popped 3 times in 10 minutes walking to the train. I turned nc off and nothing further. Will test in the morning with nc off. Either way I will be returning for a replacement pair.

I worked late tonight so didn't get the chance to, or bother searching which sets for sure.
But... I THINK that Sony and Bose had headphones with the same issue about a year ago. They replaced them without question but gave different reasons for the cause of the issue.

I also believe that Sony had (a?) set of headphones with the same or similar drivers to these. I don't know if they were the same set that had those issues, nor do I know if there was more than one.

I could be adding 2+2 and getting 7..

I got my Creative Outlier Air replacements yesterday and so far so good this morning. Usually the same route I walk from the train to the bus would cause a lot of interference and static on the headphones but all good this morning. A small bit of static the odd time which is to be expected but will try them out daily for the next week or 2 to see if it's consistent otherwise I'll be looking for a refund

Has any one got the Sony WH- XB700s

I have a pair on order from warehouse deals yesterday for £52 just wondering if it's worth getting them. Have a pair of Sennheisser HD4.5's I quite like but I don't use them out and about much as they are pretty bulky to wear around my neck as the cups don't twist and lay flat. Mostly use my creative outlier sports.

These Sony's don't have noise cancelling but seem ok USB C is a big plus. I'd still bring my sennhesiers if I wanted noise cancelling but these seem ok for out and about use. Battery life is excellent on them.

Would love the Sony XM3's or even the XB900's but they are a bit over budget at the minute. Possibly should just wait till I can spare the cash for them.

I bought Tiso i6's from AliExpress.

One stopped working, I sent them a video and opened a dispute.

Their resolution? A refund for half the price of the headphones as one still works:confused::confused:

    You couldn't make this up.

Then their link in the reply email won't work, and I can't reply to their email, so I'm high and dry.

    Never again.

Don't accept it, and wait for aliexpress to intervene.

My Anker SoundCores arrived today after ordering Saturday with standard delivery.

    I.am.loving.them.

NC works really well. Went to Dunnes on the walk home and took them off to pay and I couldn't belive the noise of the place. I was a little on edge expecting a pop like some posters but nothing yet. Had thme on for about an hour. That included walking and doing some jobs around the house. Sound is great. Really comfortable and feel well built. Some reviewers say they are a little big, but that suited my fat head!

Can see myself buying these again if I break/lose them.

Many of the stores will chance their arm in offering a not so acceptable partial refund.
Assuming that the user has them paired correctly and both charged etc.. then Aliexpress will likely agree with them and decide a full refund with the possibility of the seller asking for them to be returned at the buyers/users cost.
But often an agreement can be made with the seller before it comes to that.
Just make sure not to accept their first offer.

I couldn't do anything! Their link in email didn't work. I replied to the email but got no response. In fairness it does say not to reply to the email. I tried customer service chat and all I got was a bot.

So literally no way of interacting with them. None.

Dispute in AliExpress. That's how you should have went the first-time.

I opened a dispute. They offered me a resolution, which I was not happy with. However the link in their email didn't work, and there was no way to contact them to tell them this.
I tried their chat but it was a bot.

I did explain all this in an earlier post.

Anyway, my advice, avoid AliExpress and these headphones (Tiso i6) at all costs.

you need to either log into the aliexpress site and reject the resolution from there or else do it from the app.

You guys just reminded me that I ordered a pair of wired earphones months ago and they never arrived. Logged into the site and they're marked them as received and I can't dispute. Feck sake. At least they were dirt cheap. This's is the reason I usually try and buy from eBay or the like within the EU. You might pay a bit more but they also usually arrive faster and they've always arrived.

Anyone using them soundcores mentioned above in the gym? Can't really see them working well if jogging on a thread mill?

I got these SoundPeats ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07P1T5P97/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) after a recommendation on here. Must say am very impressed. Great battery life due to the charging box, and they stay in nice and snug even when running. I got them cheaper than they are now, so keep an eye out for discounts if going for them.

You may need to use addresspal.

I picked up a set of I12 TWS airpod clones locally and tried them out today on the bike. They last a whole 2hrs max! I'd habe hoped for me from even the cheapest of earphones.

Time to go back looking for a set that I'll get 5-6hrs out of.

I was going to order those or these. They look identical but with a 50% longer battery life.

Sound is fairly ok to be honest, as good as you'd expect given he price range. They would be fine for many uses but for me not suitable as recharging on the go isnt an option.

Bought these about a month ago and can easily get 5-6 hours playtime from them. They also have a handy google assist function by pressing the power button twice. :)

this is a great price of £21 for very well reviewed across the web (and 4.7 on amazon) tws that have Aptx (few if any cheaper ones have this, even pretty expensive ones don't) and AAC codecs which are much better in terms of latency (and quality) than standard bluetooth audio.

this is due to the Qualcomm QCC3020 chip.

6 to 7 hour earbud battery life is well above average also.

usb- c charging input and also a 2nd charging option with a built in cable to usb-a plugs or laptop.

use addresspal as don't ship to ROI or NI.

Ordered a pair last week from AliExpress with shipping from Poland via DPD. They arrived today and well, they sound very nice indeed for the money. My reference point is a pair of Tiso i5's and the Spunky Beats have a lot more detail. It's early days yet but they seem to represent tremendous value for money. My only criticism so far is that the touch controls can be activated when putting them in your ear and taking them out, which is fiddly but hardly a major issue.

My replacement Anker Soundcore have the same issue. Today it happened walking down the steps at the train station and once walking to the train from work yesterday. They arent banging off anything. Its an internal pop as opposed to an external sound.

Either an issue or I have been very very unlucky

I think it is something to do with the way ANC is implemented. I read a write up on it a while back in another language using google translate, I ended up down a rabbit hole, but it's not as rare as you may think.
Maybe not to the extent of these, I don't know. It was more common in earlier models.

Yeah its not happening when ANC is disabled so it would make sense that its something to do with it.

IMO Passive noise cancellation through properly fitting earphones is far more important than ANC. Each to their own though.

Has anyone tried the new noise cancelling AirPod clones from alibaba or a variation of them. I got the AirPod ones recommended a few pages back but the sound keeps dropping off on them so looking for something reliable under 50

Jaybird X3 sports (White) are €34.94 on amazon France + shipping bring them to €43.74 or €44.46 express
    https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B01MRQUSY1/

    Normally over €80 delivered
    https://www.hagglezon.com/en/s/Jaybird%20X3
I didn't know too much about them, having seen them around a lot. They seem to get mixed reviews. I guess dependant on when the price is taken into account.

Might be worth reading a couple of reviews before purchasing, but seem to be a decent buy at €44 delivered.
    for example:
    This review at $82 price 7.8/10 - https://www.soundguys.com/jaybird-x3-review-10312/
    Bottom Line
Though the new X4's have the IPX7 rating that these are missing, the Jaybird X3's were still the 'buds to beat for roughly two years and are still a pretty solid pair of workout headphones.

    and this - review at €69.96 4.5 stars out of 5 https://www.techradar.com/reviews/jaybird-x3
    Our Verdict

The Jaybird X3 are an excellent pair of wireless in-ears for everyday use and workouts alike. They're not perfect, but its small shortcomings aren't enough to dent how good they are for the money.
    For

    Excellent adaptable sound
    Great value
    Durable and compact design

    Against

    Proprietary charging dock
    Intermittent signal

Different locations. Usually stepping off a kerb or down some steps. Walking not running. Had happened on Netflix. Spotify and a call. Nothing else messed with sound setting wise .

I find it very good on the train. And they are really comfortable.

When i turn off the ANC on the train there is a noticeable difference.

Sennheiser Outlet have some great prices that have been dropping a little over the past while. They don't seem to deliver to Ireland, but you could use PW/PM/AP/PC.
The few reviews I have read online state that the items that arrived, came looking brand new, but I wouldn't have any faith in that. I would expect to get whatever the description says.
2 year warranty, and 30 day returns (only free in the UK/Europe).
    https://en-uk.sennheiser-outlet.com/shops/index.php

It could be possible to contact them and find out if they will offer delivery and free returns for Ireland. I plan on firing them an email, if they get enough, they may consider it.

    Guys,

Ordered these for the wife but they don't fit into her ears, even with the smallest bud cover on.

They are brand new and only turned on to check function.
Worked perfectly with my iPhone 11 Pro and iPad Pro.

White in colour if anyone wants the for €15.
    Think they cost 22ish delivered.
