    Listen we can make jokes about this menace to MMA or we can discuss this like reasonable adults.

    Joke all you want but Ido Portal becoming McGregor's coach nearly ruined McGregor's career in the UFC.

    I am sorry if I am being repetitive but I don't think posters fully appreciate how damaging a snake oilsman like Ido Portal could potentially be for up and coming athletes who don't know any better.

    Despite his lack of coaching credentials he managed to convince both Connor and Kavanagh that taking him on in a coaching capacity would be beneficial. Leading up to the Diaz fight he was training with McGregor every day and literally had him in the parks for hours doing damaging muscle movements when McGregor needed to rest or train. We saw how the fight panned out. McGregor gassed completely and that is directly the fault of Ido Portal.

    Posters are saying that I am being tedious but what is tedious to me is people repeatedly talking down the role Ido Portal played in McGregor's loss. I wiould drop the topic tomorrow if people could just appreciate that Ido Portal was indeed a coach on McGregor's team and he was largely at fault for McGregor's performance.

    Well more fool them. They should learn a valuable lesson from that.

    Connor seemed to truly believe that what he was doing was not only valuable but genius and totally revolutionary.
