Are we back to this 145 argument again and how he is at an advantage?

He is average height and weight for the division.

Aldo has just as bad a weight cut.

Exactly, it's such a nonsense arguement.
Fighters cut as much as they can to gain an advantage. If they cut too much, they lose that advantage. If any current LW top 10 could make 145 he probably would

Its just the nature of Conor being such a divisive figure there will always be people coming up with reasons to discredit him jealousy being one of the main reasons.

You never hear the same being fired at guys like Hendricks and the likes who actually missed weight a few times, the list is long of guys who missed cuts which Conor never did.

Completely unfair and unjustified to compare McGregor & Hendriks. The next time Conor tries to cut to 145lbs, HE WILL DIE(according to ppl on this forum) whereas Hendriks has only been hospitalized once because of weight cutting.

The situation is so different and doesn't suit the agenda to discredit Conor so please do not compare the 2 again, thanks :)

I think he's point was that both Conor and Hendricks cut huge amounts of weight. Conor is criticised for having a huge weight advantage at FW but the same criticism isn't levelled at other guys with massive cuts like Hendricks.

I think it's a stupid argument saying he's getting an advantage he's cutting weight he's making weight not like he's fighting at some sort catch weight where he's making an advantage.

I was fairly sure he was being sarcastic, but now your making me have doubts.

My cheek was sore because my tongue was pushing so far into it, obviously doesn't come across the same online but thought the little ;) in corner would get rid of any doubts :pac:

Dunno about the weights but height wise McGregor is above average for 145 and below average for 155.

Reach wise he's a good bit above average for 145 and above average for 155.

I actually noticed that on ufc stats. on their website ages ago,and thought it seemed too much given he is taller than Conor,i don't know for sure but i think that stat is wrong.

I think the Wikipedia or Sherdog one is more likely to be correct which lists it at 170 i think.

Haven't the UFC themselves had Jones reach wrong 3 different times?

Khabib's last fight vs Horcher they had his reach at 70" in the tale of the tape.

I think Meisha Tate has had her say at the moment but he should shut up now. She will never be as loved as Ronda or Conor that is a fact.

Or she could actually promote her own fight

Eh Ronda is fairly hated for being a cnut.

I think if she declared that she was making a come back you would be surprised the amount of support she would receive.

After seeing the Jon Jones popularity turnaround nothing would surprise me anymore.

Speaking of Horcher, he was in a mororcycle accident, thankfully he's ok.

I agree there, I like Miesha and she kinda had a point at the start to be fair but its not conors fault if she misses out on potential ppv money

I was pretty sure the UFC had a policy of motorcycles after a string of fighters had crashes

And they still hand out a brand new Harley Davidson to the TUF winners. Vintage UFC hypocrisy.

    That's not hypocrisy tbh.

It's an empty "prize" for the sake of advertising revenue. But not hypocritical imo.

The UFC claim to have Ban on dangerous activities, but in reality several of the biggest Names on the promotion are into wake boarding, skating, downhill mountain biking, motocross, sky diving and the rest.

The sort if people that MMA attracts overlaps Hughley with extreme sports.

think this type of thing is standard is a lot of sports nowadays incase they injure themselves. Anyone see the lookin for a fight episode when they went bullriding? Sage Northcutt met them and joked he was going to do it with them and Dana freaked out "NO YOU'RE FU*KING NOTTTTT!" Then Dana hurt himself falling off :pac:
