I posted the link! :-) Great to hear others enjoying it, would defiantly recommend putting in a spoon of the meridian coconut and peanut nut butter as an alternative to the cashew or normal peanut butter. It's delicious!

It's my husbands birthday today so we did a big brekkie. Fried eggs (in a silicone mold, did not work. My "owls" looked like deformed monsters), grilled bacon medallions, toast. Followed by a bowl of chocolate and hazelnut granola (coconut and hazelnut porridge for the baby), a big stack of pancakes with raspberries and loads of coffee.
    Lovely start to the day.

Pancakes with rhubarb jam spread on 'em.
    Tea.

(after I'd had granola with porridge oats and a cut up banana)

Lemon curd blobbed all over buttermilk pancakes (that were cut w/ toasted cornmeal and toasted milk solids, smelled like cornflakes)

Yeah the dry cured rashers are tasty. They are 98% pork with no added water. You get more bang (i.e. meat) for your buck so to speak. Aldi's Specially Selected dry cured rashers are also really nice.

I love bread, but it's not always that nutritious. So the porridge & yogurt bread I make is great in terms of that. Slow-relase carbs from the oats, protein from the Greek yogurt, and good fats from flax, pumpkin, sesame, and sunflower seeds. It doesn't turn out crusty like normal bread, and it is quite dense, but it does the job for me :)

Went to Restaurant 104 in Drumcondra this morning for brekkie. Had the Proper Breakfast - excuse the caps, copy&paste -

HAND CUT SMOKED BACON, O’MAHONEY’S GOURMET SAUSAGE, CLONAKILTY BLACK PUDDING, GRILLED TOMATO, EGG, GRANARY TOAST, BALLYMALOE TOMATO RELISH (the relish was absent!)

Really, really good breakfast, quality ingredients. :)

This was actually yesterday's as I don't eat breakfast during the week. Avocado toast with fresh chillies, poached eggs and chipotle yoghurt.

Homemade bread, plenty of butter, fried egg, one of those Tesco Finest summer thyme sausages (Which are tasty but they let off a bucketload of water that splatters everywhere)

Oh DB that looks so good! I have breakfast envy & I enjoyed my breakfast.

We had raspberry & peanut butter pancakes this morning. And I saw Joe Biden going to mass when I went out to get the raspberries!

Rasher, egg & avocado sandwich on fresh white bloomer with lots of tabasco. Leftover potatoes fried in the bacon fat*. Lots of calories & fat for my hard shift down the mine day watching Star Trek TNG on the couch

*pint of water that the shoddy CostCutter rashers let off. BLEURGH.
