Bucketing down since around 1700 here in Dun Laoghaire. No sign of it letting up, our road has become a raging torrent due to blocked drains on roads further uphill. Not a hope I'm heading out tonight!
Interesting to see how the view of the mountains is in the morning.

Sleet has turned to snow now here too (in Dublin 16). Starting to stick too (mainly to car roofs).

The rain system seems to have stalled over the Wicklow and Dublin mountains. I'm expecting some fairly big accumulations up there come morning.

Yes,but expected to be high ground, however the stalling front is engaging the cold air because its literally moving very slowly

When people post asl is it meters or feet, is there a standard measurement that goes along with asl?

It should be posted in meters and usually is, but some people are still stuck in the stone age *cough* DOCARCH's profile *cough* :p
