Wet snow here in South Dublin 850ft. Not sticking, nowhere near sticking. I've literally just set up my weather station so hopefully I don't scare the snow away!

Looking very fresh on Monday especially down the Western Seaboard, will be interesting to see showers of sleet and snow popping up. Going to be some windchill.

Gloriously heavy hail shower just passed through West Clare in the past while, painting the roads a wintry shade of white.

Very heavy rain in West Cork in the afternoon but the result was some lovely dustings of snow over the mountains of the Beara Peninsula. No photos unfortunately but very impressive. :)

Was in Roundwood earlier and had to drive right up to Sallygap before the sleety mix turned into wet snow..temp showing 0dgs right at the top of the Gap. Roundwood was 2.5 dgs on the way back and then 3.5 dgs with rain in Bray:( Roads are wet so snow not sticking up there yet but a good covering on the grass. Higher up than that (Kippure/Djouce/Lug) would have a nice covering by now I'd say.

    They are falling slowly.

I am down to 1.0C or a fall of 0.2C in about 10 minutes, sleet turning more and more to snow.

Not great for low land areas.

The sleet/snow boundary is at 300m on Three Rock at the moment; and so is the cloud base/fog!

Plenty of rain here in Dublin4.

Weather station is on the blink. But it's easily at 18-20mm an hour rate.
