I thought McGregor looked in much better condition than he did for the Mendes fight, similar physically but much more energetic. At the Mendes weigh in he looked tired and frail.

Absolutely. Maybe some new posters who haven't watched previous weigh-ins.

Conor looked fantastic. A real professional. So pumped for the fight tomorrow.

What are you talking about? Conor's BF is ridiculously low, you can't look better at his size while cutting to that weight.

One-nil? Ridiculous. Looks the same, if not better, than in previous weight cuts. People have short memories.

    Talking about the face off!

He was gaunt as fook but he was the same against mendes I think it's just his hair is shorter today so you could see his skull more?
As others have said I thought aldo looked bad too.

Can't wait for this card!! STACKED!

McGregor with the cut of him looked like he has a fair bit of preparation left to do before tomorrow night. Aldo looked like he was ready to hop into the cage there and then and start swinging and kicking like there was no tomorrow.

My confidence in a McGregor win has just gone down big time.

Thought Conor looked way worse vs Mendes. Seems much calmer this week, the reduced promo schedule seems to have helped

Brazilians aren't any better if it's any consolation.

Conor looked in great shape, dont know what people are seeing. Hes clearly took his time with the weight cut and will be in great shape for the fight. Easily looked way worse vs Siver, not even a patch on that this time.

Dare I say it the first time Aldo appeared to come out on top of a public engagement?

Just had a quick look at the Mendes weigh in. Conor looks much better this time. He's still fierce gaunt but seems healthier than the last fight

I disagree, as someone said he looked more energetic this time.

Jose just made conor his b1tch this time and conor knows it.

See a big shift in odds in bookies after that weigh in, didn't even look like conor or sound like him

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 435 ✭✭newbbieb

    spot on

i thought he looked more lively and happy

Agree he looked slightly better than last time but he wasn't always so bad at weigh ins i think it happened after his injury, pre injury he looked pretty good at weigh ins,but with the lay off and rehabbing the injury he probably built extra muscle which it made it harder to make the 145 weight he could make easier beforehand.
So what could he do he had made his name in the 145 division so he had to push ahead towards that belt.

That was hilarious by Aldo in fairness, well done.

Missed the weigh in. What did Aldo do/say?

I thought Conor looked like a junkie, but that's to be expected.

He looked a lot worse at the 189 weigh in.

His mental strength to do the cut is something else.

Mocked his outrageous Karate(?) style pose from that last stand off. Coming from such a serious guy like Jose it was very funny, one of the best weigh in moments I've seen.

Yeah his face was obviously still gaunt and didn't look like himself but he looked far more frail and fcuked at the Mendes weigh in.

Couldn't be more excited for tomorrow.

I'm not sure if this is the first Conor fight a lot of people are tuning in for or what, but Conor actually looked slightly better than he has in past weigh-ins. He always looks like ****e because the cut is horrific for him. He still didn't look as bad as he did vs Mendes or Siver.

looks good compared to the last one, his body looks fine, face looks a bit fat, but hey we are used to fat faces in Ireland. He is gonna stiffin Aldo

Absolutely nothing noteworthy, just Dave clutching at straws to try to pretend Conor loses even the tiniest of battles. Nothing new.

From previous weight ins. McGregor looks awful in all his weigh ins so it's nothing new. However, these extreme weight drains will catch up with him at some point.

He wont be doing them for that much longer, he will move up after a fight with Edgar assuming he and Frankie both win.

It's just water weight! If you kept doing it you'd die from dehydration! What Conor does is really unsafe, a fighter died recently cutting for a weigh in.

All to do with water, that's why they look like they've been stuck on an island without any! Once they start getting it back into the system they'll start filling out again

I think this will be his last fight at the weight, regardless of the outcome of his or the Edgar fight. The only reason he's stuck around was for this monster fight with Aldo imo.

People are reading way too much into this weigh in, both Aldo and Conor looked gaunt but that's perfectly understandable given both of their appearances this past week every man and his dog knew the cut would be tough on them.(both men were looking quite big last week perhaps bigger than previous build ups, I'm not quite sure)
Despite looking gaunt and reaching for water instantly after coming off the scales they both appeared relaxed and pretty energetic given the circumstances. I felt Conor looked better than his previous two weigh ins where as Aldo looked slightly worse than he used to at weigh ins but again that's understandable given his prolonged lay off.
All in all very little drama and for me it made the fight even harder to call.

Good in comparison to past weight cuts. I'm pretty sure you know that nobody is saying he looks good or healthy in general, so I'm not sure what point you're trying to make.

Conor looked like death dressed up tonight.
    Aldo looked absolutely composed.
You could sense the reaction from the Irish crowd.
They seem shocked to see Conor in this state.
Worrying it has to be said...................:(

Conor looks more like Paddy the Hooligan than himself in some of those weigh in pics
