Just transferred Vardy out for Kane
Also did Mane to Coutinho, two free transfers, should probably have saved one but Spurs and Liverpool have savage fixtures this week.

DDG. Should be good for save points at the very least.

Did Aguero to Kane (c) with my FT.

On the Vardy thing, I think it's a bit mad people selling him now. One thing the last couple of years has taught me is to back form over fixtures (cough Hazard!).

Even at that, Vardy is a forward so it doesn't matter if Leicester start to lose as long as he scores. The next 4 (CHE, eve, liv, MNC) are hardly rock solid defensively.

Take out the names 'Vardy' and 'Leicester' and ask would you sell the 2nd highest scorer in the game, who plays for the league leaders and has returned points in 14 of the last 15 games, because he was playing the teams in 14th, 8th and 2nd. I wouldn't.

We can only have three strikers, I think there are better options for the next 5 gameweeks, I'll get him in again when the time is right, I won't hold him just to avoid losing team value though when I feel there's better options.

As a Liverpool fan I wish I'd half your confidence. Liverpool have scored 8 goals in 7 home games, WBA have conceded 5 in 7 away. Throw in how s*ite we have been after the EL and this has a serious bang of 0-0 off it!

Each to their own. Outside of Kane and Lukaku I don't see who is a better option in that timespan unless Aguero is back. Liverpool, Man U and Chelsea have no real viable options at present, Giroud could be a shout but the fear of rotation is always there, Ighalos fixtures are probably worse and Sergio is laid up.

If we say Lukaku is "essential" then that only leaves two striker spots. I sold Ighalo for Aguero two GWs and have been heavily punished by that; I'd probably still sell Ighalo over Vardy though since Leicester are a better attacking side. Kane has a really good run of fixtures and besides the last two GWs very good shooting stats, I think he's a better choice than Vardy or Ighalo ignoring price/value

    de gea (Elliot)
    bellerin kolarov moreno (nyom target)
    KDB mahrez ozil mata. (surman)
    lukaku kane vardy

    few options in mind
    1. Mata to one of the everton lads or bolasie
    2. surman to ali (he will play and will then bench vardy!)
    3. Target to a Sunderland defender for Xmas
    4. Bank it and reassess next week
where are my fellow renegades when I need them :D

Need to replace Rojo. Defence is Bellerin, Zouma, Nyom and Simpson.

Currently thinking Moreno or a Stoke defender?

I agree with that mostly, my current thinking is to go with a strong midfield 5 and hold Ighalo as a sub until I'm happy to move for Kun again.

Bank for me, ManU attack is rubbish but I assume Mata will be playing #10

Moreno from the 2 options but maybe a WBA defender as their fixtures are picking up after this week?

    Have Myhill :)

I'd do the same so 2 votes for bank.

and its the evening TV game and my only involvement so he stays :D
still tempted by surman to ali but means benching vardy so I will probably just be sensible !

My team for tomorrow looks like this:

    Hennessey (Myhill)
    Bellerin Alderweireld Moreno (Francis Cathcart)
    KDB Ozil Mahrez Barkley (Wanyama)
    Vardy Kane Lukaku

I have 2 free transfers and am considering swapping Myhill for De Gea or Butland, but which one?

Or should I be looking at some other transfer altogether? Money is no object with 7.8 in the bank.

    I'll appreciate any opinions...

According to Dinnery Speroni will make the bench in GW17. I haven't looked into it further. Myhill's fixtures improve soon.

Talked myself into the same move(Aguero to Kane),
This will allow me time to build up funds for Vardy -> Aguero for City-Sunderland game if he's not crocked again.

    Left myself with a problem:

Who to bench out of Alli, Mahrez and Vardy.

Alli is normally my reliable bench fodder.

But I also have Dier(although doubtful, Poch said he was okay last night) and Kane.

Very torn between benching Alli at home at Newcastle and one of 'Vardez'.

Any suggestions or am I thinking right about not risking a potential Spurs treble up if Dier is fit?

If Dier was confirmed out I could go all out attack. But 4pm Sunday is a long time away.

(if i don't go all out attack and Dier misses out Danny Simpson will come in for me in DF)

Anyone an opinion on who to bench, not too keen on playing AOA.

Option 4 is preferred slightly to option 1 imo.

So in the first comment, you said you pick form over fixtures and then you say you wouldn't have Ighalo because of his fixtures......

Vardy has got double digits ff score twice this season.
Lukaku has done so 4 times.
    Ighalo 4 times

Vardy is unliekly to get a double digit score in any of the next 4 games, so dropping him/benching him is not the worse move imo.

Kane in for Aguero and captain.
Going to finally use the All Out Attack this week

    Mignolet
    Bellerin Dier(or Souare if injured)
    Mahrez Eriksen Coutinho Ozil Barkley
    Lukaku Kane(c) Vardy

You are nit picking there a bit. I have assumed that Lukaku and Kane are the 2 best options but I'd have Vardy 3rd. The point about Ighalos fixtures is that they are not any better than Vardys so, with both in form, I'd pick Vardy if I could only have 1. The fixtures can't split 2 in form players.

As it stands I have both ( and not Lukaku). I'm always a transfer short and can't justify a -4 to sell Ighalo.

Personally I'd be benching Alli. I think 3 spurs is a bit much, especially if you are considering captaining Kane.

After spending an hour pondering whether I should do Vardy to Giroud I realise I can't afford it by a million quid.

Time to go to bed. Team stays as it.

Rumours flyin about the interweb of De Bruyne potentially being rested btw.

hhhhmmmmmmmm maybe i will get ali in for surman so
this is the reason I wanted to do it anyway
so annoying if kdb misses a plum fixture like this

Westwood to Alli for -4 gets more tempting!!

This is the kind of decisions that make me stay away from strong front 8. But as I said to FHFC earlier in the week, Alli being only £5.0m makes it easier to swallow tactics-wise. I mean, if you consider him as your cheap 5th mid bench fodder, it's raging but not THAT bad if he gets you pts on your bench (Super George Boyd did it a few times last year though he kinda made it a habit of getting big scores when a major premium player everyone owned was not featuring :p).

To try answering you, it is a very tough decision. On paper bench a Leicester lad. On form, it's a nightmare. Don't you have another candidate for the bench :p? Reductio ad absurdum, bench Mahrez since he's on 15 2 9 2 21 (so 2 incoming :p?).

Also, if you or someone else can find it (I'll post it if I do before), I'd check Ranieri vs Mourinho H2H history and if there's a significant trend I'd take it into account for my choice.

    ---

    As for me. Team is
    Hennessey Myhill
    Kolarov Bellerin Bertie Souaré Simpson
    Ozil KDB Mahrez Deulofeu Wanyama
    Vardy Kane Lukaku

Was going for Myhill to DDG earlier on but missed DDG price rise and now with United injury list in defense I'm wondering if Alder could come in for one of Bertie/Kol/Bellie? Or if I should consider a 'Pool attacker?

    What do you guys think?

Wouldn't be surprised to see navas silva sterling bony as the front 4. If it happens hopefully he doesn't come on as that's where the strong front 8 comes into play.
