Thanks lads,I'm going to chance it that Hoolihan the Irish Messi doesn't drop tonight (he's around -90%).... And pick someone tomorrow, had Arnautovic at a stage last season and he can be frustrating for having blank weeks in a row but on other hand Stoke were superb at the wkd,Spurs in good form too.

Wes the f***er dropped last night!....shipped him out for Alli....here's to a productive month for the Spurs Prodigy:)

Lads, I need a keeper. Can bring in anyone. Stoke's fixtures aren't great. I'm completely lacking in Spurs and United cover (Chelsea too). Was gonna bring Alder in so thinking DDG, anyone got an inspired shout?

1 Coutois, cheapest way into Chelsea D
2 Jones, punty perhaps but surly not far away from fitness.
3 Toby, Vertongen rested tonight so Toby (in my team) probably will get rested.
Spurs D are all at risk of rotation over Xmas but long term Rose will give Toby a run imo.

Vertogen is one yellow away from suspension so that may be the reason Poch played him and Wimmer together last night as they are going to end up pairing in the epl sooner rather then later.

Davies had a v good game vs Monaco last night and assisted Lamela ' s first. I'd expect him to start at least one game over Xmas.

    Team at moment,

Tempted by Hazzard to Alli and Vardy to Kane but dont want 3 Spurs players also tempted to bench Hazzard as he has two tasty home fixtures.

    Taughts?

    Schmeichel
    Kolarov Alderweireld Damm
    De Bruyne(Captain) Barkley Özi Mahrez
    Ighalo Vardy Lukaku

    Bench, Myhill - Hazard - Cédric-Francis

I know it's been a crazy FPL season but benching someone worth 10.9 is criminal in my eyes.

Surely he has to come good but it's already 15GW's in.

I'd go Vardy>>Kane & Hazard>> Someone like Bolasie. Very strong 8 as it is

Think I might bank after smallings injury and the fact I have Ali & Kane is turning me off Toby

Rose is underscoring at the moment IMO,he's due a goal. I'm thinking of shifting someone (Bellerin/Kolarov) for him soon.

Oh great it's Friday. Which means I have to decide on how many transfers to make, all of which will disappoint me anyway.

    Hazard
    Ayew
    Aguero
    Davies

I've had a hankering for Ramsey all week but I just don't know what to do. No forward to replace Sergio excites me in any shape or form

Not 100% convinced he will start. I have my eye on him for One of the xmas games though.

Agreed. Can't see Theo starting over Giroud given the hattrick in the CL this week. Last thing you'd want is a Wenger 70 minute/1 point Theo sub.

Giroud to start and score I think. So much so, I'm seriously thinking Aguero->Giroud this week. The only downside is that as I also have Ozil and Cech, he'll become a blocker for any Ramsey transfer. Ramsey looks like he is coming into good form and really has no competition for his position at the moment.

    Decisions, decisions..

Is it a bit nuts to be considering dumping Vardy?

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,389 ✭✭✭Shedite27

I'm 24 hours away from my first Banking of the season

    Myhill
    Bellerin - Kolarov - Moreno
Mahrez - Ozil - Coutinho - De Bruyne
    Vardy - Kane - Lukaku

    Subs - Smalling - Fletcher - Dud - Dud

Yeah have my eye on Ramsey or Giroud myself. Sanchez is due back before Christmas apparently too which will mix it up again.

My team for this week with FT made is:
    Courtois
    Toby. Moreno, Bellerin
    Hazard, Sterling, Ozil, Mahrez
    Lukaku, Kane, Vardy
    ( Mane, Souare, Naughton)

Was gonna get Alli in for Mane but probably not worth -4 and would mean benching Vardy.

Giroud is very tempting (for Vardy).

Are either of these worth a hit. I'll be taking a hit next week anyway if I don't this week.

    Or leave it alone.

Am I the only one still hanging on to Aguero?? :-(

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,096 ✭✭✭✭the groutch

I think a lot of people are in that position with Aguero, don't want to only have two strikers, but don't want to have to use 4 or 8 points to get him back in, or even worse sell him and then have him make a surprise reappearance scoring a rake of points.

Nope. Waiting on word of his fitness. Will bring in Kane for him if he's out. If not I have a tough decision to make about whether to bring Kane in for Vardy or Ighalo or just upgrade Westwood.

Aguero out makes my decision easy, but I hope hes passed fit as I want him long term (fitness willing!)

Willian out, Coutinho in. Banking my other transfer, keeping Smalling for now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,307 ✭✭✭DarraghF197

I'm probably keeping Aguero in my team unless he's out for next week as well. He's too good a differential not to have in your team! I've had too many (-4)'s and (-8)'s and just want the one transfer which is looking like Mane to Ramsey.

Keeping Aguero as well...any word on the pressers, need some Smalling good news!

The manager says that Schneiderlin is coming back and believes Smalling, Herrera and Darmian will return before Christmas.

Balls Toby in for him so. Anybody considering Bony? Against his former club, KDB & Silva assisting?

Bony would only be a short term move, so not a good idea imo. Much better options who will get games and are scoring (Giroud, to name one). Bony's not even in good form.

He may do well this week, but I wouldn't even be convinced of that.

  • Registered Users Posts: 378 ✭✭John83

I'm missing Darmian and possibly Aguero for the weekend. And I really don't want to take a hit. I'm right amn't I?

Looks like a 4-4-2 and doubling up on Palace defense. Or 3-5-2 with Wanyama as a 5th mid.

    Which is the better option?

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,184 ✭✭✭✭Pighead

Aguero still unfit according to Jamie Jackson's twitter page. Bugger.

Does anybody know when the next double gameweek is coming up? Dying to use my triple captain.

Giroud is funny though. I wouldn't be confident of him scoring at all this weekend. He's too hot and cold for my liking
