Pity Danesfort did not win the football yesterday though they appear to have given it a real go.

Any feedback on the Bennettsbridge Intermediate SF?. Nothing about it apart from twitter referring to the atrocious weather and playing conditions.

This Bennettsbridge team appear to be an exeptional oufit, play a lovely brand of hurling, keep their heads down, and are well coached and mentored.

They have broken all records to progress into the Kilkenny Senior grade, and hopefully more good times ahead, if only to do it for the great 'Bridge players that have preceded them.

Also to note, Pat Hoban stays with the minors too. While Eddie Brennan takes over the U21s

That's not actually true. County board came out this morning and said as much.

Richie O'Neil of Kilmacow will be a selector/goalkeeping coach and Richie Doyle of Barrow Rangers will be strength and conditioning coach.

great to see Richie Doyle involved - what a smashing man to have in the background.

Should be a cracker alright. It's on TG4 i think? In Paranell Pk i presume? Dublin clubs have never faired well in this competition down through the years. Always expect big things from them but they seem to under preform for some reason!

I'd also be interested in same. Has he been involved with a club over the last few years?

KK have had a couple of disappointing years at U-21 level, by their standards, be interesting to see how he gets on.

Eddie was involved with lisdowney a few years ago that won the junior, it will be a good stepping stone for him hopefully

True. There's not usually U21's on senior panel until he needs to boost the panel in August. Depends how U21's get on though. Should be decent this year.

He had cody junior and conor martin on the match day 24 for the semi final which surprised most people including myself, also james meagher, chris bolger, evan cody, darren brennan and sean morrissey were in at various times during the year.im looking forward to next year's u 21 although wx will be strong again and we have them at home if we win against westmeath

Next year's walsh cup fixtures for anyone interested.....afaik james nolan hasn't got full permission to play matches although he is training. This should be a good match tomorrow and cuala look a very good side, clara will need to be at there very best if they're to win think they have 4 or five on the dublin panel
