Mane is a player I really want to get in...

I saw him on MOTD - talk about tenacious! He was brilliant.

    He dismantled Chelsea.

Mane is a player I really want to get in but it will take me an 8 pt hit to do it this week. I looked into his starts after international duty since signing for southampton

This convinced me to hold off for this week. Ayew at home to stoke on the MNF will have to do. However Mane will be coming in very soon.

Worrying figures for a new owner! But against a Leicester defence that can't handle pace I'll settle for 30 mins.

He showed Gary Cahill a thing or two alright!

Without meaning to sound ungrateful  I'd a poor week, due to The Tinkerman dropping Mahrez, Pelegrini dropping Sagna, and a poor bench - ultimately I'd 5 players not playing this weekend:

I've been guilty in past seasons of making too many transfers (often 2 transfers or more, week after week after week) so was trying to avoid that this year (and was doing very well, actually :pac:) but I had to take a couple of hits before prices started changing. So out went Pedro, Martial, Darmian and Gomez; and in came Sanchez, Pellé, Berty and Hangeland.

I still need to do something with Oxford; Sagna is a worry; I want to get Gomez in for Fab; and am open to the idea of shifting Backary Sako. I think -12 is already enough of a hit for this week, though.

We'd all love to make that many changes. Tbh I would of (I did last night) moved Sako on before some of them - he looks to fallen down the pecking order big time.

Don't worry about the defence only 2/3 clean sheets each week.

Like a complete idiot, I transferred Dier in. Hadn't been following him beyond seeing he was scoring well, points wise, and just saw he's suspended.

This is the stupidest FPL move I've ever made.

Hope you got him at the start of the week. Easiest 0.1 of value made

Some amount of transfers, and indeed point hits, considering we're on the Monday of an international break.

It could be a long two weeks for some.

Who did you sell out of curiosity?

I'm really tempted to sell Mahrez for him.

Plenty of pts in the bag, coupled with big names finally getting their act together and gaining/preserving team value = spend spend spend.

If I could've done it for free I'd have got mane even with the risks but due to the chance of him being on the bench I can't risk it for a pts hit. You went mane over payet I presume. That would be my choice also.

Any point in doing Silva to kdb? When toure is back who loses out? All 3 of them start?

I can see myself selling mahrez soon. Vardy is as good an option and there are a load of mid firing now.

Martial to Vardy and Wanyama to Mane is something I'm looking at if I am still keen after the break. Doing so for a -4 I'm OK with then.

I've seen buses turn quicker than Cahill but Mane was class in fairness.

I did. I wanted to make my transfers and just get them done with.

I may have the extra .1 but I'd rather a third playing defender! It'll be 10 men for me! The stupidity. :o

I already have Sahko and I've enough fires to put out without trying to swap around my West Ham attackers. Selling Yaya is a luxury but i think with the arrary if attacking options City have i don't think he's gonna get a look in. And it frees a space for De Bruyne if I go that way.

Something is telling me to give Hazard another week at least though. He's a hell if a player to be a differential if he did kick on.

There'll be at least a -4 this week though.

    ?

Toure has no impact on either Silva or De Bruyne. They play in different positions.

De Bruyne took Navas spot. Fernando is filling in for Yaya.

Yaya Toure was talking earlier in the season about playing a more defensive midfield role so I think Fernando would be the player to drop out.

I think KDB & Silva are first choice with Nasri, Sterling & Navas all fighting it out for the attacking midfield berth.

Senegal have only 1 match, a friendly away to Mahrez's Algeria tomorrow week (Tues 13th). Algiers is less than 3hrs flight from London. He'll be home early on Wednesday for a 3.00 Sat ko.

Yes. I checked this. So what?

    Don't judge me......

You can always take a hit. Points hits are not the end of the world.

Or play your all out attack chip ? :)

I'm not sure whether to take a hit and get Gomes in or let him rise and avoid it. Darmian will definitely be going for either a So'ton or Stoke defender. That would free up some funds to change McCarthy to Gomes who's been borderline a rise each night. Decisions, decisions! Thing is, is that I'll likely be doing another transfer after the next GW to get rid of Sako, so I might be taking a hit either way.

I don't have Alexis, which is causing me issues.

    To bring him in, I'd be looking at -8, to go;
    Azp - Bertrand
    Martial - Ighalo
    Ayew - Alexis

It's the Martial transfer I'm struggling with, I know most have jumped off the bandwagon at this stage but I'm struggling with the thoughts of shedding an in-form quality striker for a top 4 team.

I know he has poor fixtures, and Ighalo is also in form, but taking an 8 point hit to do it is a problem -

Pulled the trigger on Pedro to KDB before price changes made it impossible. Praying I get away with no injuries.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test
