Everyone is moving! Been thinking about it myself. I want to get back into the electrical game. Lots of work in Scandinavia for the foreseeable future. Sweden has me very interested. Semi permanent too

Yep not quite America. It will be my first taste of mission work and I'll only be gone for three months in 2016

Thats where a friend of mine was for a year or 2, couldn't believe it. Now gone to Australia....

I've plans to move to the city next year and get away from this pissy hellhole called Navan :D

I'm a man of simple things and that's one of a small number of plans :)

I agree. He doesn't have a very good Fusion with what's going on.

Probably away in the clouds. Or at least the Granadas. Maybe the Sierras. Any higher and he'd see the Orion. Needs a good Escort to bring him back down to earth. Guess he's a Scorpio. :p

It happened again. Went to the shops this evening to pickup something from Argos. Empty car park. Park in the middle of a free line of spaces. Gone for 4 minutes tops. Come back. Single car parked worryingly close to mine. Even makes it awkward for me to reverse.

I'be never been tempted to leave apart from times when I see people in Canada, Australia, New Zealand or America driving 4.0l petrols like it's nothing.

    Always makes me jealous.

That's awesome. I'd love to come and visit and perhaps live there too, but the whole visa thing is a huge hassle for someone like me who has 0 relatives there. Where abouts are you living there?

Yeah well once I get more settled in more than welcome to I can show you around. I'm in Atlanta in Georgia so south East I guess you could say. They are a bit nuts down here!

@BN - I need a daily hack but I'll absolutely be looking to get something big and preferably American!

If ya want to fit in in the deep south you need the following :

    Ford F150
    Shotgun
    Bible

You'll also develop a love for everything deep fried and say "Y'all" in every sentence.

May have been a bit over keen on the ploughing here now they are not selling tickets till 8am. Literally hit no traffic at all starting to get busy now though.

Speaking of things Out Fodden like, it turns out that Citroën is the Dutch word for "lemon". Apparently André-Gustave Citroën's grandfather had been a fruit-and-veg dealer in the Netherlands. Who knew? :pac:

Few from home set off at 5 this morning, about a 3 hour drive. Not unlike yourself, they were ambitious!

If i could get a career break for a year I'd be gone to canada. Would be very quick to get a job in transport in Ontario with very decent pay.

Rent is not expensive in comparison to the wage

You will also need a porch, rocking chair, jug with XXXX on it and a banjo.
Then simply garnish wildly with confederate flags.

    Don't forget:

    Denim dungarees
    A straw hat
A shoot of wheat to chew on
    A banjo
A shotgun with a pitchfork tied on
A jug with 3 x's on to play music/drink out of
A 1959 Chevy El Camino, in faded sky blue

Is there anything to be said for a Dodge Charger with a roll-cage and the doors welded shut, and a couple of serious looking archery bows??

Charger needs to be pre 1969, in a dark satin finish, with a 707 cu block, tubbed rear end with mickey thompsons, just the windshield, a huge weiland supercharger through a shaker hood and several bumper stickers either side of the parachute :D
