Where are you getting that bet from? Can't find tko/ko/sub

    It's under double chance.

Big fans of Davies you say??? Well here is the full Beyond the Octagon McGregor special episode.

PS. So cringey when he brought up the balls on the forehead claiming some fame that it was on his show and asking why he was asking Conor's height.

yep, stupid question but then listen to the rag he writes for.

    It's really not.

Do you not think that Chad, who has been tested and we know what he will bring being 11/4 to win against mcgregor who has not really been tested and still has many unknowns in his game by KO/TKO/submission is a massively value bet? Don't get me wrong, I appreciate that Connor could come out and ko Chad instantly or hell he could even take chad down and submit him as that side is an unknown but if you are putting emotions aside you have to admit 11/4 is crazy good value.

I can't for the life of me see how Conor is the favorite here... he's pretty much talked himself into his favorite tag, I expect chad to win.

Have to say, SevereMMA boys are killing it over there. Their interviews with all the fighters are excellent and very pro. Great how Andrew tried to avoid bringing up McGregor to Dustin :)

He's been asked and hasn't said, Aldo was meant to make 4 million from it. Imagine he'll be making around the same , maybe a little less , maybe even a little more now that Aldo pulled out of the fight.

To be fair , I know it's mad money and Aldo is/was the champion but it's McG pulling into the huge PPV numbers from them so he should be making equal. I'm sure Dana is seeing to it that he is well looked after.

No I'm happy for him, delighted he's making good money, good rags to riches story. The more the better. When you look at Mayweather and Pacman making upwards of 120 million each, this to me is more entertaining so 4 million actually seems small.

Fight is Sunday night at 1am right ?

I can't believe that Chad is 11/4 on sky bet to win by tko/ko/submission..... it's literally free money! Or at very least the best value bet of the year.

    hilarious!

By all means stick your money on it, but it is FAR from "literally free money" or "the best value bet of the year".
Yes it's a decent price but I wouldn't be creaming myself to go out and bet the farm on it.

I agree it's not free money, that is an expression only, but I do gamble a lot and cannot think of a better value bet this year! It's like Chelsea being underdog to leeds because leeds signed a striker who had a couple of fantastic games for his team to get promoted from the championship playoffs. Best value bet of the year by far, chad to win by any other method than decision 11/4,,, unreal. I predict chad will win by tko from ground and pound or getting Connors back and getting a rear naked choke locked.

This is what I see happening, I think It would just be so unexpected, 10/1 for Mendes by submission If anyone wants to chance their arm with that.

This most definitely is not free money.

To be honest, I don't even think it's good value. I certainly would not be putting my money on it because I don't think it's gonna happen. I'd rather have an odds on bet on something that I consider odds on rather than an odds against bet that I consider to be odds against.

Just out of interest, what do you think the odds should be if you think 11/4 is too high?

bit like werdum at a similiar price to sub cain, has to be taken win or lose
might not happen but price is too big
think its far more likely than a chad ko at half those odds

In fairness to Connor part of my decision making is that he has spent most of his camp preparing for a stand up fight with aldo, completely different tactics needed for chad. If Connor was fighting chad from the get go I would fancy him more.

You don't listen to a word that camp says.

its 12/1 on pp. just stuck 10 quid on it, huge odds for something that has a possibility of happening.

Conor didnt prepare just for a standup with Aldo. He has said himself that he felt once Aldo felt how hard Conor hits that he would resort to wrestling so he was prepared for that also.

Like I said, it's not bad value but there have been better value bets this year imo. And I think your Chelsea/Leeds analogy is way off the mark.

The Mendes by KO/TKO/submission on Sky Bet has actually drifted to 3/1 now!

    See below:
    http://www.oddschecker.com/ufc-mma/chad-mendes-v-conor-mcgregor/method-of-victory

Just looking at the prices for the fight winner market - the odd of McGregor winning have shortened big time since the start of the week which shows that the big money is coming in for McGregor. Will be interesting to see if his odds shorten further by fight night!

Have a look at the Jon Kavanagh interview, a few pages up. He's makes a good point that since so many injuries occur in MMA, there's not much point focusing everything on one style, because it could always change.
