Is this a 4 hour PPV or is the BT listings wrong? They have it down for 3am to 7am

Think that's the maximum length of time they believe it will go on for. It probably won't last that long!

Fair point. I give him a load of credit for taking this fight, there was also a huge amount of pressure and money at stake, that 155 fight would bump him down to co-main and probably tank the PPV buys. Don't envy what he had to go through during those discussions.

Both are scared and afraid of each other. Any man would be. This is a huge fight. They put on a front of extreme confidence - basically doing what every fighter/boxer in the history of the sports has even done.

If they allow any doubt they aren't going to win this fight creep into their minds then the negative thoughts could take hold.

Conor said he did not have to loose as much weight as Chael said.

Chael confused his walking around (normal) weight with what he thought Conor was weighing that very minute and that Conor is much closer to the agreed weight than the 27lbs reported.

In his words it would be "unprofessional" to leave that much weight to cut 8 days out.

He would have got less money but I doubt it would have tanked, he's the main attraction, and he'd still be getting the Aldo fight eventually. He's risking pretty much everything here, and to be honest in the same situation I wouldn't have done it

To be honest I have not seen much of Thatch, would you rate his take down defence?

I have a feeling Gunnar will look to take this to matt and finish after his last fight, where he misjudged his success on the feet.

Im sorry but i backed Thatch, i feel bad for saying it!!

Take down defence is decent, nothing more. Its his vicious strikes and knees in particular i would be worried about.

BT always said 3 hours for previous events. I looked at US tv schedules and they are saying 4 hours for the PPV too which would never happen unless it was actually 4 hours. Happy days.
