watched this morning, it's good listening to Chads trainer even going mad over the verbals, later in the hotel room. you can see it annoying him.

I have to say though I'd have loved an Irish fan in the audience to say "all messing aside, nuff respect, best of luck on the night Chad.
It's hard not to like him, he's very down to earth, it's that California kid eejit that's hanging round em.

I like conor and a win or spectacular win would be superb but I'm an MMA fan 1st so I just hope best man on the night wins.

I hope it's like brad pitt and eric Bana in TROY. ERIC Bana is a nice guy and Pitts an arrogant warmonger, but nice guy or not, in the end, true combat skills win out and McGregor seems to thrive in war. That said, mendes is coming, and thus the real WAR begineth!!

Anytime I see team alpha male working out together it reminds me of the petrol station scene in Zoolander

big time. they're all like midgets with napoleon syndrome. running around taking selfies with their tops off. sure even dominic cruz gave faber stick during TUF about doing that. he said something like "any day faber gets to take his top off, is a good day for faber". faber's a clown, great fighter, very dynamic and fast and I love his fights but he wouldn't look outa place in CANCUN bombing a swimming pool or high fiving the tequila run!

Whats the purse for the fight ? how much is McGregor looking to make from this ?

I'm probably Chads biggest fan on this forum he's been my favourite fighter in the UFC before Conor cam in and he'll still be my favourite fighter win or lose but he's clearly emotionally invested in this fight bar a large amount, that Yoga / Monkey comment and the bitching in the hotel room prove it massively. Hopefully he gets his head sorted because if he doesn't as Conor says I can see it being "Done in One".

Cannot wait for the fight anyway Sunday confirmed off work makes it all the sweeter, my cousin flys out today and my mates are already out there meeting a **** tonne of fighters I'm unbelievably jealous.

He's been asked and hasn't said, Aldo was meant to make 4 million from it. Imagine he'll be making around the same , maybe a little less , maybe even a little more now that Aldo pulled out of the fight.

To be fair , I know it's mad money and Aldo is/was the champion but it's McG pulling into the huge PPV numbers from them so he should be making equal. I'm sure Dana is seeing to it that he is well looked after.

If Chad talks trash back Conor is in his head, if he sits there silent Conor is in his head, if hes pumped up Conor is in his head. All pretty much standard reactions in a pre fight press conference designed to hype a fight but guaranteed to have McGregor fans declare some mental victory.

What price is Mendes to win?

Differant prices depending on where your betting. Most Irish sites , Paddy power and the likes McG is the favourite , if you look at European sites/US sites Mendes is favourite..

it's weird how McGregor seems to be expected not just to win but to win quickly. I'd like him to and I think he'll do it but the bookies odds would have you think mendes hasn't a chance, all very strange.

Two completely different men, one hunts for his supper, butchers his own meat, fights the greatest fighters in the world! The other has never faced an elite fighter, has an intrest in fashion and is very good at talking sh1t. Man I am going to enjoy spending my winnings after watching conner get humbled.

Mendes is a brilliant fighter no question if McGregor fends the take down I just can see how Mendes will touch him the reach and the power of that left cross is a massive advantage to McGregor.

Win,Lose or draw McGregor will be taken down, you can bet your bottom dollar on It, as they say In the states.

Two very good SevereMMA interviews, very rudely interrupted by Gareth Davies. What an absolute arse.

    Can't stand Gareth A Davies.
    What a twat.

It's easy to kill an animal when your the one holding the rifle , it's easy to butcher a dead opponent.

It's difficult to pick the right Ivory suit for the occasion and to speak publicaly about how god like you are.

I can't believe that Chad is 11/4 on sky bet to win by tko/ko/submission..... it's literally free money! Or at very least the best value bet of the year.

He's a right an aul wankér. Even his question at the press conference was pointless and he was obviously trying to be controversial by reminding Chad that he was there when Conor made the balls joke.

Mendes sets up the takedown very well. His feints and level changes are top class but Conor is so quick and light on his feet, I can see Conor landing a big knee when Mendes shoots. Just like Aldo done in their first fight.
Mendes is no doubt the toughest opponent McGregor has ever faced and he's not to be taken lightly but, even taking off the green tinted glasses, I think it's gonna be Conor by KO. And I think it'll be early. First or Second round.

Where are you getting that bet from? Can't find tko/ko/sub

I think Connor will be doing everything he can to keep it on the feet! Throwing the knee would lower the chance of successfully defending the takedown.

ah they said the same about mayweather avoiding manny and he still won on the day, nice shoes and trash talk aside.

sure if mendes started punching sides a beef and running in bad shoes, would that make him even more appealing.

Big fans of Davies you say??? Well here is the full Beyond the Octagon McGregor special episode.

PS. So cringey when he brought up the balls on the forehead claiming some fame that it was on his show and asking why he was asking Conor's height.
