Ah ok. Sorry I misread your post. Fair enough point.

No bother, and I'm glad you're not lonely;)

Which reminds me I hate anyone who has anything to do with JD, whether it is complaining to him, listening to his show, threatening to complain to him or labouring under the illusion that he is actually in a position to do anything about whatever f.ucking "travesty" has transpired. Megaphone for the great unwashed, that's all he is.

Petty tyrants and/or office workers who's world has gotten very small.

'Mumsy' types. Not all mothers (obviously), just the ones that bring every conversation back to their kids or the fact that they are mothers.

I have children too and love them very much, but it is the incessent focus on children from the mumsy types that is really irritating.

When someone emails you or texts you using something like "Wud u like 2 go....."

    Dickhead!

I can't stand anyone who doesn't like animals. You couldn't trust fcukers like that as far as you could throw them. Freaks.

I hear you on that one! They're usually total byatches to younger, more glamorous women who haven't given up everything to become mothers like a true martyr should!

Same with people who don't like Bob Marley

When someone prefaces a political/current affairs/environmental/economic etc... opinion with "speaking as a mother."

People who have to go about all the places in the world they have been in an effort to make them look more "cultured"

Eugh. I went to school with someone who is all sactimonious and self righteous because she spent her fertile years off in some far off nowhere land saving lemurs. What the actual f.uck? Charity begins at home. Stay here and save the animals here. Or is that too boring for you? Afraid you won't get any points for doing something so normal, have to treck halfway across the world do we?

"You're not a woman so you wouldn't understand..."

"If you were a parent you'd have a different opinion..."

"What if it was your sister..."

These type of people who think that:
    1. Others are incapable of forming opinions on situations they haven't encountered.
    2. There opinion is worth more in a democracy based on their circumstances.
    and
    3. Because it happens to them the rules should be different.

People who don't like or have a passion for any of the following, animals, music, food. If you are indifferent with regard to any of those I will regard you as highly suspect and likely to end up a murderer.

    People who make sweeping generalisations.

    Yeah, I hate them all...

Any sort of believe in holistic or alternative medicine, especially homeopathy.

Funny enough, people who come out with statements like the above.

You show a complete ignorance of how some alternative therapies have changed people's lives where the medical system had failed them and many times, almost killed them.
    Also, anyone who's an anti-vaxxer..

There is no such thing as "anti-vaxxers". It's a term coined by people such as yourself who wish to strawman their position (in an effort to discredit them) which of course is simple the vaccine schedule and not give so many different vaccines to children in one go and also to remove as many toxins from vaccines as possible. Calling such people "anti-vaxxers" is just a way of condescendingly dismissing them off as being hysterical.

I'm old enough to remember people like yourself sneering at the prospect that radon gas in people's homes could be causing cancer.
    I'm a scientist.
    So?

Do you think scientists are immune from being wrong or something? Immune from being manipulated to show one thing and not another. Science is wildly abused, particularly in the medical arena.

Chaps such as yourself are always telling people to read Bad Science by Ben Goldacre. Well, might I suggest you read Ben's other book which funnily enough, doesn't nearly as often get cited. Wonder why.

We've got a live one! :pac:

I suppose we're just imagining the, for example, goons who harp on about vaccines being a government conspiracy, eh? Or the idiots who still think there's a link to autism.

Oh man are you in the wrong country. Vancouver, that's the place for you. People visibly squirm or shudder when you say cunt or anything more inventive than your usual sh!ts and fucks

I don't mind swearing, I do enough of it myself, its just the type whose every second word is a **** or a ****.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,865 ✭✭✭✭Grayson

Stupidity. I mean people who have bloody stupid ideas and think they are fcuking great.

Women who touch me too much, If I did it to you I'd be arrested, so I'd like you i'd reciprocate the respect.

You're ruining it for the rest of us!

I think I'm becoming more tolerant with time. For example: I might think wearing skinny jeans with the arse hanging down is stupid looking and impractical, but I try not to let it bias me against a person. The same goes for any aspect of how they look, where they come from and so on.

I find lack of empathy and narcissism to be bad qualities in a person, but that's not so inexplicable.
