Sorry. I've a weird feeling I will screw you if the others even give me the chance.

I think i'll have a WWE heavy roster, with some ROH wrestlers thrown in for good measure.

Theres a chance you and MNG pay screw me, ive actually got plan c in place if so. I actually cant believe you wont screw me considering what id do in youre shoes. With MNG being MNG though, ive a sneeky feeling he may pick someone out of leftfield. .

It is funny how all the roster once they have taken shape that do have a feel to them.

There is alway one that had shades of ROH or ECW or NJPW. I guess it's hard not to when you always equate certain guys to certain types of Feds.

So who's left to draft their 2nd picks??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,773 ✭✭✭connemara man

I'm 2 away. I'm literally biting my nails.

  • Registered Users Posts: 48,990 ✭✭✭✭Lithium93_

I'm bottom of the list, but completely worth it considering my 1st round pick.

Not wanting to be a pain but any chance R3 draw could go up this evening please and if the round has a stip ;) much appreciated Lord TSC/BH

  • Registered Users Posts: 48,990 ✭✭✭✭Lithium93_

Think you could've waited til everybody had drafted their 2nd picks :P

I'll, for the most part, do the next round orders when there's three or so to go. Hopefully should be this evening mind, if everything goes at a decent pace.

its gonna be tough to take that championship from around MNGs waist methinks....though its really far too early for such talk, but the Bulldogs & SCSA are a great start and suit MNG imo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 88,250 ✭✭✭✭JP Liz V1

I hope no one feels I am pressuring them to pick fast (everyone has their 24 hours), apologies if it comes across that way, it is just I would like to see the next round draw and more important whether there is a stip or not and what it is

In fairness MNG's first two picks could be Gillberg & The Godwinns and I'd still have him as favourite :pac:

I never thought I'd land them so I tried not to get excited about it. I think one or two of the lads ahead of me had drafted them in previous years so I had to hope they would look for something different this time. Guess it was my time to land them. Bit like with Stone Cold!

I love after you make your second pick because this is the point in the game where you can feel your roster start to develop a bit of an identity.

Have to say some of the other rosters look very tasty indeed. I'm looking forward to seeing what ideas people go with.

I actually can't wait to see the stip for the next round and of course the running order of draftees :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

I had an idea for a stip I thought I'd throw in. I'd tentatively call it the Non-Title Round.

As the name suggests, participants would be unable to draft a person that has held any championship in their careers. That would include titles from the indie scene. So even if your intended target only held something small like the West Virginia South-East Regional TV Title they would still be ineligible. :pac:

I thought it might be a nice challenge and get people's thinking caps on. If there's interest I'd suggest it would be best used later in the game. Then again, it might not prove popular with people.

Just an idea. If it's not a goer then no worries.

I'd be worried with that not round. Not because I couldn't find anyone but it would just be crappy characters or wrestlers who would just be jobber fodder to be honest!

Working on Round 3 details now. Going with another "Fire Sale" themed round, opening things up, rather than limiting them.

Right now, we have two obvious stips later on (Celebs and pre-1970s), one I'm working on right now.

I like the idea MNG, but worry "No titles ever" might be severely limiting; I think most people who participants would want to deal with would have held some **** title somewhere long the way. But would a "No titles in WWE, WCW or ROH" round work later on in the game?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,490 ✭✭✭brianregan09

I like how we started a ROH only stip last year , Maybe a TNA type one this year , or how about a round with Wrestlers just from outside North America

Yes I think that would work quite well. Maybe not too late though, if it's at the end they'd be an afterthought. If it was in the middle you'd likely still have some good names to draft but I think people would be more likely to formulate a position/feud for them with their following picks.

The joys of public discussion like this is people can get very, very close to whats planned :P

Yeah the 'no title' notion does seem extremely challenging. I was thinking it would be best suited to between about rd 10-15 but even then it looks bloody tough. :D

It would likely have to be adapted in some way like you suggested. I didn't realise so many wrestlers have held championships, but having looked at a few names the last few minutes it turns out almost all of them have. :pac:

ahh jaysus, stayed up till almost 3am here to find out in a you can have a champ in a tag team round im no.20 and there is no reverse order...

    where is that drawing board!

edit: actually reverse in the next stip round...*desire to kill TSC easing off*

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,773 ✭✭✭connemara man

Oh great Lord TSC keep up the draw like this please

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,159 ✭✭✭mrkiscool2

YES! First in the draw! I'm extremely happy with that! I am pretty much guaranteed who I want now!

Yeah got a low one too so I feel your pain (though not quite so much pain ;)).

The next stip round is reverse though so at least there's that to cheer you up - unless the next stip round winds up being some sort of non-title round like I suggested, in which case I'd be hoisted by my own petard in hilarious fashion! With you joining me!

Dear god I did not read the whole thing! I really hope the next stip round isn't what I think it is, because if it is that could really fcuk up a feud of mine...and fcuk it up quite badly too!

11th ...bah was hoping to get another pic made before the end of the night ...I'm jealous of the guys who got early picks you can sweep the bloody board

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,012 ✭✭✭✭Alfred Borden

19th. Expecting my top three picks gone and a massive rivalry, heres hoping for a few swerves!

  • Registered Users Posts: 418 ✭✭lebowskilite

18th Grrrrrr. Great stip but I doubt I'll benefit much from it. And if the next stip is any good, unless its in round 4 it probably won't make up for this round. World's smallest violin :(
