Agree that his long game looked very promising and he was hitting it long too. But there is no excuse for that short game. He has a extensive short game area in his back garden!

Good video review of his round here for anyone who missed it http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/golf/9592665/nightmare-return-for-woods

Yeah I'm pretty sure they stated he hit every fairway on the back 9, probably some time since its been possible to say that about tiger

How did they end up having to suspend play due to darkness? You'd imagine it should not be too difficult getting 18 players around during daylight hours. Was there a weather interruption?

Like an old man in that clip. I'm not an admirer and I dislike a lot of what he has brought to the game but fair dues to him for battling through this.

Really looking forward to plenty of Spieth/McIlroy/Fowler battles this coming season. Also, it pisses me off hearing commentators this week say of Spieth that no particular element of his game is exceptional. Bullsh*t.

Seamus Power is in action this week at the web.com tour q school.

It's being played at PGA national.

Currently tied for the lead in round 1, -4 after 10.

Seamus is still top 10 after 5 of the 6 rounds complete, looking good to start the year with decent status on the web.com tour.

Winner and ties are exempt for the 2015 season and from periodic re-order.

Players finishing after the Winner and ties through tenth and ties position - exempt until the third periodic re-order of the 2015 season.

Players finishing after the tenth and ties position through forty-fifth and ties position - exempt until the second periodic re-order of the 2015 season.

I think they re-order every 4 events so a top 10 would get him into the first 12 events out of the 24 event season.

Well played Seamus, birdied the last 2 holes of the bear trap at PGA National to finish 5th. Good category for next years web.com tour and hopefully 12 months away from the PGA tour :)

Be interesting to see his stats and whether the weight loss impacts his driving distances

Is that the course where Duval shot 59 back then? I think that was a pro am event.
