Wouldn't be confident of a city clean sheet with that back 4.

Would have preferred to see Aguero alone up top, but we'll see. Coates gets his first match in a while over Wes Brown

Milner on the bench is good for my H2H with Swiper

i'd be more inclined to scrap bonus points. or maybe limit it to max 1 extra point. double captaincy points already can make a such big difference, adding in the baps just skews things a bit too much i.m.o.

Why? Skews things in what direction? Just another thing to consider, which when considered leads to a better decision than one that doesn't consider it.

    Consider.

Jeez Hull are certainly packing up their midfield! 5 CM's effectively. Plenty space for Mirallas and Baines down the wings hopefully

Early goal from Captain Hazard to settle the nerves is all I'm looking for!

No Giroud..... over to you Captain Sanchez.....

Bloody Milner is starting to wreck my head, God knows why I look at them but the FFS predicted lineups have put him in the last two games, I've been dying to get rid of him but they've given me that bit of hope each time.

And KevIrl, you nearly resulted in an expensive laptop getting a good punch, you need to be more careful with your information.

I'd have captained sanchez over aguero if I knew Giroud wasn't starting

Not Irish or UK tv but it was shown elsewhere.

Milner as usual on the bench, slightly disappointed but fully expect him to get at least 25.

Just need Chelsea or namely Hazard to have a quiet night.

MOTD tonight should have all the games from both days.

    Welbeck please do the business

Quinn starts for Hull, happy to see that even if he's my last sub, should slow his decline somewhat. Would like to see him start more as it'd be useful for Christmas.

He turned into quite the differential last week for me. Hopefully more of the same in what will most likely be his swan song in my team.

Yep but the highlights from last night's matches is normally short.

Mad captaincy pics rarely work (RVP last night!!) and I do think some players over think it. If a player is being captained by 90% of people, a la Suarez last season, just captain him and try beat your rival with your other 10 players, rather than be 'different' and miss the big hauls.

This I 100% agree with. Unfortunately I forgot it last night.

But I do feel there is to much reward and too much luck in captain choice. Diame (and RVP) is a bad example. You could have three valid captain choices in your team, like this week. .say Bony, Aguero and Hazard... and which of those gets 15 points and which gets 2 is pure luck.

You can be lucky or unlucky in picking from the obvious and popular captains each week.

    Dear santa,
I would like anArsenal win with clean sheet but sanchez kept quiet.

Aguero to do worse than hazard. And chelsea clean sheet....oh and a hull goal

I read on FFS that wellbeck has outscored costa since gw5

I'm very happy with the 6 players I have tonight: Chambers, Aldweirald, Baines, Hazard, Sanchez, Aguero (C) and Kane.

The only player that can really hurt me (from my rivals) is Cesc.

Chadli on the bench is killing me :( only have albrighton to replace him so hopefully Chadli comes on early enough!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,360 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

I reckon chadli will come on tonight as there's a good chance spurs will be chasing the game.

Him coming on for Kane before the 60 min mark ensuring a point for both of them is my personal nightmare (really hope I'm not quoting this post later)

Yeah he did but that's a bit of a ridiculous point selecting the data that fits without any context (why GW5 particularly? Because Costa had a blinder in GW3 & 4?).

I think it'd be more sensible to make the same comparison since Costa returned from injury (GW10). Welbeck leads 21 pts to 16 before tonight's game.
