    Pausing and resuming the download in the Purchases section of the App store has bumped my download speed from 3 MB/s to 16MB/s. Should be done in about 10 mins.

    I'm also on the public beta. I expected to be able to update to the final version through an update in the Mac App Store, but only iTunes 12 is appearing for me. I don't want to go through the 5.5GB download..

    Tried several times. Without luck. I have the "beta" version on my iMac so was hoping I was going to get it as an update, not sure.

    Shall leave until the Americans are asleep.
