Thanks, I'm in North Cork, so according to this I'm in the Mullaghanish zone.
How do I enter the range of frequencies?

Scan returned zero results. Am I missing something obvious?

Just in case you are getting them from different muxes than you think you are, check on your tv what frequencies your getting them from. Then scan both of them on the box. There's a lot of masts in cork so you never know.

Maybe get a copy of bappelbe's image. H3 does seem to be the most problem free of all the images at the moment. Or search back a few pages and get my copy, Then when you load it up scan them frequencies again and hope for the best.

Probably wrong, but on 'type of scan' is there not an option to change to 'complete scan"? This is what i do without issue.

Are you entering 474000 and 498000 in the frequencies? Try selecting clear before scan. Here's the frequencies link

Thank you. Tried the frequencies you referred to. Tried complete scan.
Still get nothing, yet when I connect direct to TV I get a perfect saorview picture.

I remember having issues with tuning terrestial channels when I first got the amiko. I had to go into setup, service searching, tuner configuration, tuner a, and confirm configuration mode=enabled and terrestrial provider=Europe, Middle East, Africa, dvb't frequencies

what image are u using? Is it the ar-p image. there is a good few of us have had no success getting half the saorview because they are on a different mux. if u use hyperion 3 or something other that ar-p, you will have success. but there are better suggestions a few pages back. go back to about 3 weeks ago and look through the pages,

Can u see signal strength when Terrestrial connected directly to TV?
I'm on the triplex also but to a boosted outside aerial and no probs.

Hi Folks, I have the Amiko Alien 2 box and I keep getting green screens when i switch on the box. Thre last line of the message appearing is 10error:[Errno 28} No space left on device:'/usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions/multiquickbutton/keymap.xml'
Can anyone help me get this sorted?

yllw.ldbttr, you are using the same transmitter as me so I am putting my Hyperion3 up for you on my dropbox:

in short this is not a "production" image like Championcs ones

If this doesn't work then I'd say you have a faulty tuner. I had to return my first Amiko due a faulty tuner and like you I spent ages before that flashing different images ect...

I had the same issue with the permanent timeshift plugin. What I had to do was open up my ftp programme (I use Filezilla). Then as the box starts to load up, connect to it (keep hitting the connect button every few secs as image loads until it connects) , navigate to the extensions folder and delete the plugin. You'll only have a window of a few seconds to do this so it might take a couple of attempts

Hi,
I tried to rev the Spark software back to v1.2.51 (Enigma2 Boot Upgrade) in order to install Enigma, coulddn't get it to load. Could I just install Hyperion V3 on top of V1.2.6X?

I tried that but it would not install the IPK so i used 7zip to unzip it and ftp'd the files accross.

The plugin now appears in the menu but if clicked crashes the box with the green screen.

My Guide is working now but you cant change any settings as if you try it crashes you can just use it as is...

Im going to try delete all the files tonight as it just got to late last night and try the OE 1.6 Images (mipsel.ipkg)(older Version) and see if there is a difference..

I used the OE 2.0 Images like - OE-Core, OE 2.0, PLi 3.0, Dream OE 2.0 (mips32el.ipkg) last night as i assumed AR-P was a newer install.

Hopefully thats all it is now
