I got the 330 on a dyno today.
It managed 216.5 at the flywheel which I was happy about, but a big drop down to 174.6 for the wheel hp! I guess the auto took a bit out of it.

Torque was between 205-10 at flywheel.

Where did you get it dyno'd?

    random question time folks

How likely do you think a dealer is to accept a swap/trade in of similar value to the car on sale?

I think I know where this is going....;)

No, he was working on a 318 BMW at the time.

Ya I text him earlier and he was whining about something, then I thought maybe it was your car that pissed him off lol

No it wasn't me thankfully. It was pretty straight forward.

They did about 4/5 runs and they were all the same. They got 214,215 and 2 at 216.

I imagine the cars he works on would make the 330 a fairly bland car.
Though I wasn't wondering what he would be doing with a 318??

It was like that in the Urban garage, booking in Micras and Fiestas around EVO's, race cars, Porsches etc You take what pays the bills

Nice dyno figures will have to get myself a readout before the end of the year.

    Always wanted to do that

This rack is still an arse to put in, despite the engine being out

That the steering rack on the 156?

I got my car back today, a day later, but OMG so worth it, it looks amazing

Yep, steering rack on the 156 ;) gives me an insight on how the bay is! Subframe may need changing as its quite crusty in places but thats a given :)

On the road to recovery so it is :) it won't be a speedy recovery but someday it will be right and back on the road :D

    Oh yes :D

My car has been resprayed mirror to mirror, and is going back in a couple of weeks to do the bonnet (stone chips)

Then I've to fix a tear in the drivers seat, replace the aerial, the gear knob, and give it a good service.

    So your keeping her.
If you ever do decide to sell her let me know. :)

I'll post some pics tomorrow, too late tonight to get any.

The work the chap who did it did, is amazing, all scratches/dents, very bad scrapes gone, the finish is gorgeous, and the car just looks fantastic.

He also did stuff like touching up the tyres to make them look blacker, the car just looked incredible, I couldn't believe the quality of the job he did.

He loved driving it too, told me I was mad to consider keeping the citroen!

Would he fancy working on another GTV? :D

In all seriousness though, would you PM me his details?

Today we drove through what I would call "typical" (or what I imagine typical to be) Route 66 town. Here it is on google maps. Absolutely a no hope town, no prospects of jobs/education beyond second level etc etc. Really shows how detrimental an effect opening the interstates had on towns.

Note: it looked much worse in real life compared to street view.

I thought we were seeing the end of the 535 already. As long as it wasn't an alfa you wanted :D
