    The thing about the radar in snowy situations is that it doesnt do well for the lightest showers...


    So for this for example ,

    I would expect to see something falling from the sky if i looked out my window now.. but nope nothin.... Its picking stuff up that doesnt reach the ground.


    So instead i look at the normal radar..

    The lighest blues is ppn that doesnt reach the ground , its only the Dark blues and greens that would get me to look out now if anything.

    It is now snowing very lightly. Typical have to get up for work at 6-30am hehe:D

    Lght snow this morning but enough to turn cars white and roofs, grass, etc., slushy white.

    We're leaving for hospital now to have a baby. Seeing the snow was exciting but now is a bit like ah FFS :)

    Bursts of light to moderate snow every few minutes in D14 but ground is just wet... :( Surprised to stepaside area has a good covering- I guess the elevation makes all the more difference in a setup like this!

    Temp 1.7C, DP is -1C.

    Yeah was heavy ten mins ago look at Dublin city traffic cameras for an idea!!! Snow has stopped now though :((

    ECM is excellent again today and goes for the undercut- we are back in sub -8C uppers in a weeks time...

    Meanwhile in D14 nathing is falling at the moment...
