I'm a little disappointed. But in hindsight I think it was silly to keep hoping it'd be out in February or March when we'd seen so little.

Sucks, but going by some recent releases (Yes, I'm looking at you, Assassin's Creed 3), I'd rather get a polished game than a rushed glitchy one, and gives them more time to add in any new stuff they can think of too.

What Rockstar are doing is actually refreshing. I suppose I'm not a massive GTA fan so it doesn't bother me having to wait but even if it was for a game I'm a huge fan (good example being Bioshock infinite which was also delayed) I still wouldn't mind as they know it's not ready.

I'm sick of these day 1 patches.

Fair play to Rockstar on trying to make the best game they can.

Anyone following the series would be highly suspicious if it was announced it was actually coming out mar/april

.....and I'll go on record to say we still will not see it until mid Oct ...... mark my words

To be fair we have been waiting a long time, the first trailer was released in november 11, it will be almost two years later when the games is released.

We've waited this long, we can wait a little longer. Rockstar haven't let me down yet.

The only downside to the new release date is that i'll probably be in South East Asia somewhere when it's released, it'll be Jan 2014 at the absolute earliest before I play it! And that's unlikely as i'll have spent all my money travelling.

But feck it, i'd rather be off travelling.

Oh, and if us console folk won't get it until September, when are the PC brigade likely to see it?:pac:

I will buy it, I have been playing GTA since 97, I won't stop now. I actually deserve better. Don't release a trailer and f.uck off for a year. Don't say spring when it's not spring.

Basic customer service. People are entitled to be disappointed.

Can't say i'm shocked about the delay.

For such a massive title that was meant to be coming out in "spring" it wasn't exactly adding to the hype machine lately.

... doesn't all of their promotion material in shops etc say "SPRING 2013". Surely that's going to cost a lot to send out brand new ones etc.

The beauty of being a software development company is that, in truth, you never have a f**king clue when you product will be ready. Deadlines are pushed back for EVERY company, be that MS, Google, Rockstar, or an individual who develops his own stuff.

It's ready when it's ready!

It was going to be a great summer.
No European Championships, World Cup, Olympics, nothing only GTA 5 on long summer evenings with my friends.

I will now have to spend summer watching Wimbeldon or cricket or some other sport I have no interest in...

maybe the delay is to get the pc version out at the same time? but yeah delay sucks
