So there is a big multiplayer event thing on gta4 tomorrow happening with loads of gta v stuff being given away.

We were also told that we would get the box art (and also a possibility of the release date) sometime this month.
Keep them eyes peeled tomorrow because I'd really like to change the thread title!

This might be a mad idea, but wouldn't it be awesome if GTA just randomly came out one day in Spring ? Its GTA, it doesn't really need any more hype or build up. It will still sell as big and would create a buzz unlike any other game

Cant see them doing that. I think only Radiohead have done that (10 days notice) and that was for something a lot smaller than the biggest game of the year. They'd want to make sure everyone knows.

Ah but the Euros were only 2 hours every couple of days.

I'd say GTA would be worst for wasting time.

Oh and some news, apparently, MS sent multiple emails to people saying the release date will be 24/March (Sunday), so will probably be following Friday

My mission between now and release is to get a decent TV for the bedroom.
No way will the boss let me play GTA while feckin emmerdale, coronation street, eastenders and whatever "talent" show muck does be on the tele in that respective month.
I lose ALL the TV battles for the living room. I'm weak.

I think I read (though I can't remember where), that Rockstar said there would be no well known voice talent in the game. That being said, I think they were referring to main character voices, so celebrity comedians could make a reappearance.

That could be a good thing though. I'm playing San Andreas again and I'm getting fed up of James Woods constantly phoning me to learn how to fly(I'm prioritising passing the other schools first:o). I'm sure I'll be calling him a few expletives next time I see one of his movies:pac:

Using celebrities as anyone other than themselves is a massive waste of money. The vast majority of people wouldnt recognise them until it is pointed out.
