I'm so ill. This is horrible. I don't really get sick. Trying to stay awake so I'll be able to sleep tonight.

    However, IT'S NEARLY CHRISTMAS :D:D:D:D

WHY HAVE DOROTHY PERKINS CHANGED THEIR WEBSITE TO STUPID SIZING??? I don't understand what 32, 34, 36 in waist size is :(

Can anyone tell me what a size 16 is in those weird sizes?

My boyfriend and I are together 3 years today :D

  • Posts: 81,310 CMod ✭✭✭✭ Kylan Odd Cowboy

    Is that not just inches?
What size is your waist in inches
    Oh, it's EU size
hit the little "size guide" and it'll pop up a conversion, says 16 is 44

Must have slept on my arm last night, the pain of it. Also need to make an appointment to get my foot looked at by my GP.

Edit: Happy anniversary pixiebean! :D Myself and my bf will be 2 years together in about 3 weeks. :)

Just had a look there, that sizing guide is ridiculous  Converting the waist measurements to inches, a size sixteen could be somewhere between 46 and 48 in their sizes. Congratulations on the anniversary btw :)

Hugs for DK and Lucy :)

DP are just in Euro sizing now with new website, same as Vero Moda, so I'm a 12-14 in "normal" sizes, 40 fits me in Euro sizes.

And stupid euro sizing is NOT the same as french sizing - in France size 12 is 42, 42 is 14 in euro sizing. Why can't the EU authorities do something useful like standardising sizes!

I have a spot on my chin that's so big it should have its own orbit. If it was on my nose I could put Rudolf out of a job. Woeeeee. My face, my poor, beautiful acceptable face

Me and my bf had a great talk yesterday evening about what's going on with us and things feel so much better now. We were talking about trying to get away for a couple of nights soon so I'm keeping an eye on Pigsback (thanks DQ and the others that suggested deals websites). Might try book something for our anniversary if possible.

That's good news, it's awful when you have something hanging over you.

I do not see the fascination with Ikea food. It's just bleugh!

I feel like I might be dying. I managed to cut my wrist with my work badge and although it's not bleeding it's right on the vein and I'm like 'that's it, my life is over'.

Funny how Thanksgiving just made my workload drop to zero.

Awaiting responses on all the things.

I joined a women in IT networking group in my company. Due to my timezone, everyone in my working group is in India, Indonesia or Japan. These are going to be some fun pronunciations for me!

Add Singapore, China and the Netherlands to that!

Lidl Breaks are definitely your best bet - generally around €39 pp for a night's B&B, €89 pp for two nights B&B and one dinner.

Lawks a mussy, I just ran in to a guy I "went out with" the first time I ever went to the Gaeltacht when I was 13. We were joined at the hip the entire time and I bawled my eyes out when the course was over cause he lived in Galway. Literally haven't seen him in 17 years and I recognised him straightaway.

Just because we need more penguins. Lucy, how are the plans for the penguin sanctuary coming along?

    Empathies! :(

You know, though, you could make a game of it.

Get a friend to prepare food purees and blindfold you. You will then gain points for every foodstuff you correctly identify.

The prize is chocolate for when you're better.

The raw meat puree may delay your recovery, though.

My brain refuses to engage today. I'm just sitting here doing nothing. I can't seem to get involved in anything. :(
