Group therapy is my favourite, but they cancelled my support group this semester :(

Loads of people in work told me they were impressed by my speaking this morning :D So nice to hear!

Watched a video of myself doing a presentation last night and I thought the opposite. I want someone to tazer me every time I say UMMM. It was painful to watch :pac:

It's a great way to highlight where you think you can improve.

Feedback from people though is as important, don't be overly critical.

My Mum got me to record her voicemail message, pretending to be her. I have an awful D4 accent at times, I sound so pretentious, it's cringey :o

My skin is slowly but surely starting to clear up, at long last :D

Is it manipulation you're having done? Manipulation made me want to kill my physio!

No I have two appalling exercises I have to do four times x 15 repetitions a day. By the time I'm halfway through the first exercise, I'm almost ready to take a cleaver to my leg

I've done three lots today so far.

I was doing that a whole lot when my part was over. And oh the slouch on me! I speak first in our team and I must think its ok to relax then! So was good to watch even if a little painful. Gotta get rid of my giant belly too :pac:

Just gonna have to sacrifice sleep for exercise, I have no time these days for anything :( My friends are going to a concert tonight but I decided not too go, too busy and stressed.

Ah I see. I used to have to do single leg calf raises on my bad leg. I'd get about 2 done and even at that I'd barely be able to left my heel off the ground. I don't envy you!

I have to do mini lunges so my knee learns it's ok to bend again.

This is then followed by raising it towards my back using my other leg to push it for the same reason.

I'm taking the view that the more diligent I am, the better it is for me. It only takes about ten minutes at a time to do both sets, so bit of pain for a while must be worth it if it starts getting me better :)

I had a link but messed it up, I'm that tired, lazy, fed up, etc, that I can't be bothered going back to find the link. Search penguin on DP's new Irish site! 15% off your first order.

I have a 15% off code for DPs if anyone wants it. They're also having an online only sale until Sunday with 30% off loads of stuff ;)

    Go on treat yourselves :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,565 ✭✭✭Cerulean Chicken

Pricking DP, I was going to order a fab blazer yesterday, it was down from €70 to €35. Went to order it now with 15%, and it's back up to €70, it was half price all week. Shady gits putting it back to full price as soon as they offer 15% off.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,513 ✭✭✭✭Lucyfur

I'm not loving their new sizing at all at all. I can be anything from a 10 to a 16 in DP's

when it's a size 10 i wear it inside out so everyone can see i'm really a skinny b1tch

Done both lots of them for different injuries, pain to do, but well worth doing them properly - it was only because I did the exercises that I got away without surgery on my knee for so long!

Hate this planning - so much to do for tomorrow, and all I wanna do it sleep!!!
