PP, I know someone who just moved to Newfoundland! I wonder if it's the woman you met...

Went Christmas decoration researching tonight, gonna buy a tree and decorations and things tomorrow and we're doing up our flat while watching the toy show, followed by love actually and accompanied by wine and half-price Ben & Jerry's. :D

My acey waits in the hall for me to come home. Then cries like a girl when he hears me at the porch door, I have to pick him up for a cuddle to settle him down.

Ugh. What a crap day. Was one thing after another piling on top of me.

On the other hand, cooked a yummy dinner - peppered steak, chips and pepper sauce. Having a glass of wine and then bed. At least tomorrow's Friday :)

Is that like a CBT kinda thing McChubbin?
Not really. It's more to do with preventing a relapse in moods and preparing for a crisis but we're all encouraged to talk openly about our experiences and contribute feedback on our treatments. I've signed up for a number of free groups for the new year so it remains to be seen if they'll be of any benefit.
In other news, I'm jotting down recipes to ambush my rehabilitive cookery teacher with so tonight, for the first time in weeks, I'm actually relaxed.
Also, happy news: the little Jack Russell my family was fostering is now settling into her new home with a family friend. :D

People who put up their Christmas decorations before the middle of December
    29704504.jpg
We don't put up ANY decorations whatsoever until the 15th of December in my house. The Toy Show does get us in the Christmassy mood, though but other than that, no. FFS it's still bleedin' November!

My neighbours have their tree up!

I wish they were my friends, I want to go to the Christmas house.

Then last night I saw a light up musical Christmas hillbilly truck. I want to ride around in the back of it like the queen of Christmas \o/

Can be fierce annoying when you just want to get in the house and you've three dogs trying to take you down to lick your face though. :D

I usually just throw myself on the couch and let them jump and walk on me and stuff.

Mum loves coming into the house with me because they just run past her to get out to me. :pac:

Ace is the bestest though. If I'm not home he usually knows when I'm due home and will start crying at the sitting room door to be let out to the hall to wait for me. How does he know what time it is?

We put ours any time between the 5th and 15th of December. We usually try and have it up before my sisters birthday on the 10th.

I'm a late Christmas decoration person. Last year I put mine up unusually early, on 16 December - generally if I'm putting my own up I'd put them up around the 22nd-24th!

    Where the hell is Ella?

Last I heard she was up on top of the roof of Croker...

I got to introduce James to the concept of magic flying reindeer tonight. Being a parent is awesome sometimes.

We put them up very reluctantly on the 24th last year. Bah humbug.

    Ooh that sounds like fun!

But can Santa also have a flying cat in your house?

Thankfully we are spared Christmas decorations this year :)

Yeah, did the damage to my cartilage 3 years ago, had surgery to fix the problem last July, had stopped the exercises for 9 or 10 months and it flared again - had that lovely brace from above my ankle to my hip on it for a month, and still not back running. Trying to start back, but did a bit (running for the bus) and it was stiff afterwards, which is an improvement on three weeks ago where it was painful :D

Some planning done for tomorrow, heading to bed now - set my alarm on one phone that I don't use very often last night for this morning, alarm went off at what I thought was 6.40 this morning, but turns out I never put the hour back when it went back in October, so it was actually 5.40 - turned over and knew I had a second alarm on my good phone, had an extremely weird dream, then woke, alarm never went off - 6.55am and I had to be out the door for 7.05 - cue madness! Alarm is set correctly for tomorrow morning though!

    Why?

(there's a joke about flying pussies I'm too tired to make up)

The two lads living in Aylesbury near me had their Christmas decorations up since early October, they found them upstairs in the attic when looking one day and decided to put them up! Madness!

I am so excited for Christmas this year :D

Such a change. Few years ago I would just drink my way through the season and dread all the food, it was always a terrible time of the year for me, except I was loving all the parties I could never remember after. :pac:

This is my first time feeling excited about it since.. I can't even remember! So making lots of great plans and enjoying the season so far. Been watching films and doing my shopping had a turkey and crandberry pita yesterday! Sunday is the Christmas parade in my town and the frozen yoghurt place near me have their Christmas flavours in, gotta visit sooooooon! :D

Jaypers, so it's not a straight forward, you need surgery type thing? My surgeon wants the physio to see what progress I made.

I had the most horrific experience about five minutes ago. I was showing OH the photos of the evil exercises, and noticed it says 3 x 15 reps, 4 x per day!!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

I can't even manage 1 x 15 reps of each without feeling nauseous!

And there I was thinking I'd done well to do 1 x 15 of both exercises three times today :(
