I just had a gorgeous dinner that was so filling. I had 40g pasta with low low cheese triangle melted on top, mixed with tuna in brina, extra light mayo, cucumber and two slices of ham. I was shocked when I read the serving per person of pasta is 75g and I was thinking 40 wouldn't be enough but I struggled to finish it. I think next time I'll probably only use 30g!

Hi sounds lovely, would you mind putting up recipe please?

Just tried on a pencil skirt I got in Coast about 2 months ago. It wouldn't zip up at all then but zipped up AND tied the clasp today! Still have a bit of a tummy roll in it but sooooo excited! :D

Going for dinner later (hence trying on everything in the wardrobe). If anyone has a chance could they have a look at the menu link here http://www.gallaghersofbunratty.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=3&Itemid=11

What would be low in pp? I just haven't a clue when it comes to eating out. I have 16 dailies and 49 weeklies to use and would LOVE some dessert! But again haven't a notion what to point desserts at.

Its date night for me and DH - we haven't been out for dinner since before xmas (I don't count Eddie Rockets!) so its a real treat! Thanks everyone :)

Hey Judy. Lucky you... that restaurant looks yum!
I stand to be corrected on this, but I would have the Bruschetta to start, or maybe the soup... depending on what it is, and if theres cream in it (realistically, there will be cream in it!!!)
For my main, I would have: the baked cod, the steak (chargrilled), the grilled salmon, or the baked sole... be careful of the veg, they will in all likelihood be laced with butter.
as regards desert, that's a tricky one.. the sorbet is probably the least pp, but it might not float your boat! i would always look for something meringue based (unless its scoozi choc cake, but that's another story!!!), but theres nothing like that on your menu. you've plenty weeklies... have whatever you fancy, if you feel you haven't gone overboard with the main... or maybe convince the OH to share with you... though I don't think I'd be able to convince my OH to do that!!!
    Have a great night!!!

The number 10 is in my head. But I think that might actually be old points.

Hi sounds lovely, would you mind putting up recipe please?

There's no real recipe as it's something I threw together myself. I boiled the pasta until soft. I chopped the cucumber and ham (I normally include 2 cherry tomatoes but I didn't have any), then mixed with the tuna and mayo. I added a pinch of salt. When the pasta was cooked, I melted the cheese on top and then added it to the tuna etc. The cheese might not completely melt so just mash it into the tuna.

Sorry I know that's not a great recipe but I'm not great with cooking! I couldn't even do pasta without asking my brother was it ready :o

    hi folks

had a decent day today... have still only used about 12 weeklies and so far have gained 18 activity pp since thursday. Am on 24pp for the day but seen as me and the OH are both off tomorrow we are having a DVD night tonight. We always have loadsa goodies.... so i was just careful about what i bought for myself. Got WW belgin chocolate brownies today and my low low cheese... made some spicy tortilla chips from a wrap and stuck it in the oven for 10 mins... all ready to go... I will probably end up using about 15 weeklies... but im going to be good for the next few days.... :D

Hope you are all having a nice weekend! :D

Been a tough old weekend, was at my friends up in belfast for my book club and while I was pretty good about what I ate, I had a lot of wine. Have done very little exercise all week but have eaten every single weekly I have (only the third time I have done that). Also my TOTM is due this week and that usually means a STS. Was hoping for the pound to be down for my third silver 7 but I will def take a STS - just praying its not a gain before the 4 day weekend.

Passover starts on friday though for me, so that means a week off bread/pasta/beer - anything that has any sort of grain in it. So hopefully that will help things next week.

Hope everyone had a good weekend, and best of luck with the WI's this week!

Down 3lbs at WI this morning!!!YAY!!!

Not having the best week girls! Had the flu which played havoc with my appetite and when i did it was things like bread or toast with real butter and picking! Managed to use up all my weeklies on 2 nights out, once with friends to the races and out after, and the next on a great meal out for my parents 28th wedding anniversary - still think we have to enjoy life now and then and not let the guilt set in!

Been back on ww for about 4 weeks, and it's my first time on propoints, last time i was consistantly losing 1,2,3s and this time I'm struggling a lot more with only a 2 1/2 pound weight loss in a month despite eating loads of fruit, no carbs with dinner and loads of good protein! not sure if it's as i only have about 8 pounds to lose this time or if I'm just not being as strict with myself but either way I'm going to try go back on the old points plan for the next week and a half and see if it makes a difference!

Anyone else having the same issues?

Sorry for the long post!! been a long week

I have to say, you guys saved me altogether from staying off the wagon! (coz I'd pretty much already fallen of it for sure lol!) Now I ate all around me at the weekend so the weeklies are gone, but I had weetabix for brekkie this morning & I have a wholewheat pasta salad in with me that I made last night with broccolli and light garlic & herb cream cheese. Am delighted to be feeling positive and full of motivation again :-)

    Well.

That weekend was a bit, eh, meat and booze filled.

I didn't eat often enough, I barely drank any water at all and every single meal included meat and two consisted of meat alone.

Did I enjoy it? Hell yeah. Am I going to let it seep into the rest of the weak, egads no.

I'm pretty certain I'll be up on Wednesday but line drawn now.

Found myself super hungry today and have just eaten rings around myself at lunch! Am stuffed now and only have 3pp left for my differ :( I do have the slim pasta at home so im gonna try that out with a 0pp tomato sauce and see how I get on with a 0pp dinner tonight. Maybe add a bit of cheese to use up the last 3pp!

Hope I can stick with it! Hate the dreaded TOTM and appetite that comes with it!

I was at a wedding at the weekend, a lot of Prosecco was drank, goats cheese tarlet for starter, cream of carrott and coriander soup, beef for main course and strawberry cheesecake for dessert.

Had a huge dirty fry yesterday morning and smoked cod and chips for dinner. I need to run a marathon before weigh on on Wednesday!

Jeepers it was delish!

I did get up early and do some Wii fit... going to go back on it in a bit when everyone has cleared out of the sitting room. Feeling a lot better about this week. I know i have put the work in so come what may. Im measuring up tonight too... aint done it in weeks so Im dying to see what the scores on the board are! haha!

Went to the gym this morning. Really battled the munchies today. Held strong though thank God! Had a lovely dinner of salmon with cracked black pepper and a little bit of tartare sauce, one potato waffle and LOADS of steamed carrots and green beans. Stuffed to the gills! Have zumba toning tomorrow night, might go for a run in the morning too. Here's to a good week!
