The original arguments on this thread haven't moved on since this morning, simply because none of us have seen the basis on which the FA came to this decision.

Agreed, everyone is appauled by racism and if the evidence is there Suarez deserves the ban. If not Liverpool's lawyers will have a field day in the courts.

I wonder if the FA thought the club would just take the ban and move on? If they did it was a monster mistake.

Presumably the delay over the weekend was for them to make sure everything was legally sound.

I'm not disputing the Henry Winter article?

Where in does it say he used a racist term or racial abuse?

It simply said he responded to 'get your hands off me south American' by saying, 'what's your problem black man'...that's not racist?

Anyway.....can't wait to read the findings in full.
