I'm going to make an optimistic prediction

    Mercedes GP-One, Two.
    Michael Schumacher-1 Nico Roseberg-2

Doesn't look good for tyre ware for Mercedes GP. Shui back in 11th. Rosberg getting passed.

Button setting an absolutely amazing pace right now, is he trying to pull a Hamilton strategy?

Getting so tired of Coulthard relishing every slip up or misfortune by 'Michael'. Switched to 5-Live as I couldn't bear him any more than six laps. Crofty all the way.

I know most will not agree, but having Coulthard as a commentator is a complete step in the wrong direction for an exciting sport. At least with Leggard there was a sense of passion, theatre & excitement about whatever he said (even if he was right or wrong). Coulthard is a complete and total void of character of any sort.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,047 ✭✭✭freestyla

And now McLaren mess up a pit stop

    What's going on?

Way offtopic but I remember the days when Benetton were the aces of pitstops and were the best!

Hamilton's weekend is pretty much over now. Tire ware is a real problem for the teams. New ground for all the teams.
Button is managing his tires very well, again. And, has increased his lead to 10.6 seconds over Vettel.

Well yeah. I understand the webber stop was delayed because of vettels stop but why were they standing around with covers still on the tyres as vetted was pitting? And then the same thing happening to Lewis. Madness! I love Monaco :P

Button has supersoft over Vettels soft.. need to see how times change after Vettel gets supersoft instead

Traffic spoiling Jenson's strategy somewhat, though Vettel still has to hit hit now.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,316 ✭✭✭✭amacachi

Race is in McLaren's hands. He's only a couple of laps from lapping Hamilton etc. so if he's confident he can do 40+ laps on the softs he should hit the pits first and either cruise up to the back of Vettel as he hits traffic or force Vettel to cover his stop and leave him chasing.

Jenson's in, God this is hard to call.
