Spouting about heow "we" made F1 safer. FFS!

I don't see an issue with what he was saying tbh.

feel a bit sick for perez, the first time he gets into a Q3 session and fate rewards him by doing that :(

Had the red flag been put out as quick as it should have Hamilton could've had a couple of laps instead of the one.

Well fair enough, I was being a bit harsh on him, but I just found him difficult to listen to while they were passing time during the red flag peroid.

Schmacher in 5th might give him a chance at podium

Vettel sixth consecutive pole ffs :P
Perezs crash interrupted them badly in driving rhythm

Strategy going to be very interesting tomorrow. Will all come down to track position but it's all gonna be pretty on-the-fly figuring out what to do.

I'd say Button will be mighty tempted to go one-stopping if he can stay within a pitstop of Vettel.

Can already see a possible cracker of a fight happening when Hamilton has to try get passed the old master two places ahead of him :D

Ya, didn't miss anything! Hamilton set a bad lap time and Button, Vettel, Webber, Alonso all didn't bother finishing their flying lap!

    From BBC news:
Sauber said Perez had "concussion and a sprained thigh, but no broken bones and, following a scan, doctors could find no further injuries"

Hamilton cut a chicane on his fastest lap so he gets bumped down to 9th.

Glad Perez is ok, pity he won't be racing tomorrow.

    Really, that sucks

His time in q2 would have put him in 4th, so will regret not getting in a banker early on

Webber had the pole in spain. So Vettel had four in a row and now his fifth pole.

Perz had a big shunt and won't be racing tomorrow out of safety reasons. Anyone who has had a concussion isn't allowed to race the same weekend. Good to hear he's okay.
I was wondering if it is possible to move the chicane a bit further down the track, there is an escape road. Than drivers won't have to brake on the bump that seems to be there on the bit of track. Lots of drivers have made similar offs on that part.
looking forward to the race hopefully someone beats Vettel to the first corner.

TBH I'm amazed the chicane hasn't been addressed before now. Something along the following lines would be my suggestion, red being new barrier and white being a gap for re-joining should someone miss the chicane. Have a stopping point perhaps with a marshall or a lights system.

If things go his way, he can certainly get on the podium. Would love to see it.

It's gonna take a lot of luck and track position I think, Mercedes just don't seem on the pace at all, especially in races.
