What makes you think there is such a small number of confined spaces??

Skidrow & Salvage are two maps with huge number of confined spaces. Other maps with some are:

Estate: Make the house your own.
Scrapyard: L plane section, buildings etc etc
Bailout: inside the buildings
Crash: Lots of indoor areas, including the 3 story, BlueRoom etc.

It's a beast.

So you're complaining about a shotgun with less range? It's a secondary.

Anyway, so what if it's range is less that other shotguns. It has to be nerfed somehow, otherwise it would be a total game breaker. But still. When you're in the corridor section of Skidrow, or downstairs in the bookstore. Or as you wander around the pathways of salvage. Or how about the alleys in Favela? If you come upon someone in these situations, they have a tiny chance of winning a gun battle. Even with another shotty like the Spas. It gets so much lead in the air so quickly that you simply toast them.

Obviously, quickscoping with the SniperShotty (Spas) is great for a 1v1 also, particularly with it's range, but if you get caught by two or more people, you're gonna have a serious fight on your hands to survive due to slow reload speed. The AA12 makes it easier. Yes it's a bit nooby that you can kill so easily hipfiring, but I always use what I can to win. Spas on maps like Highrise, AA12 for Salvage/Skidrow etc.

i find i would use spas 12 no matter what the situation. its just a lovely gun to use excellent range great stopping power and kick as* reload animation

I prefer the no reload animation of the AA12's when you're ripping through three guys.

Yeah, they are pretty beastly alright, and quicker to get to than the Extended Mags on the AA12's, but I find the recoil is actually worse on the G18's. If I had to chose between them, I'd go with the shotty's. But there are so many great guns in the game. Love the akimbo rafficas too.

Presumably you use Steady Aim for the akimbo G18s? Don't like moving away from Ninja/SitRep for a secondary weapon.

I used the silenced G18 as an alternative secondary to the PP2000 with extended mags, found the G18 good close in but useless if there's any distance between you.
PP2000 or akimbo USPs are amazing if you do go for Steady Aim and an akimbo secondary. USPs akimbo has the benefit or working towards the tactical knife too, if you're interested in 'witching' (prepare for some well deserved hate though!).

EDIT: The M1014 might also be a good weapon for those complaining about the load/reload time on the SPAS, I used it for a while when using Hardline instead of SPP as I wasn't always guaranteed a one shot kill. 4 rounds means 2 people in a row unless you're very close is kinda your limit without extended mags though.

Not really sure how I feel about this game at the moment, in particular the multiplayer. Now I loved CoD4, I must have because I went all the way to tenth prestige, but I just can't play this game for longer than, say an hour before I feel the need to tear something apart in frustration. The game itself is great, it's the people who play it that I have a problem with.

no man,dont bother with stead aim,i can get nice rang with the akimbo G18s,and the majority of kills are headshots, there savage for multikills too, i dont know what it is about them but it feels good killing people with them, they're probly my favourite gun in the game when you have akimbo.

I dont believe it,I had a laugh with some boosters, found them on Domination of all bloody things, 2 guys on different teams, was playing on Favela and found them behind the small shed near the top of the hill. I saw a guy on my team had a green TI down, didnt think anything of it as I ran past, figured he was watching A, then I saw his name on the kill list from a headshot, then again a few seconds later, hmmmmm i thought, so went back to have a gawk, and there was another guy on the opposite team helping him boost, now I couldnt do anything about the own team guy as it wasnt hardcore, but I did spend the rest of the game following them around, it was actually a laugh as they kept trying to hide and the guy on my team was spinning around and jumping to signal the other bloke i was coming as he had no mic, even got a pm off one of them saying it was fun lol

I've only ever found one set and they stopped as soon as I killed the guy on the other team.

I've never played a 1v1 for the simple reason the lad im playing would be the host . I just don't see the point in it .
