A further 15% off - where did you get this information? Still showing as €249.99 on their web site. I've got one on order, shop don't seem to have any idea when they will arrive into stock

There are 219 in DID with the same disks less iron man.

    kinda rubbishes the tesco offer

tescos every little bit helps MEH.. more like we will mind your money for a few months and give it back to you then mind you can only spend that money in our shop... now off you go

this is 325 euros in tesco at the moment with 30% back in clubcard points

not sure if any blurays included in the box though

The list price was €299 is Tesco two weeks ago when they had their 25% off weekend (so effectively €224.25 that weekend). No mention of free DVDs. Might have bought it if it was €249 less 25%.

I was talking to them today... Seemingly they have the players but no blu rays with them.. They got delayed in shipping, managed to get a player and can collect the movies next week... Well my dad can, I'll be away at that stage!!:D:D

Yeah, if somebody can confirm it's 212.50 now I'll go off and get one :D

*edit* That 15% off is for Camera, Sat Navs, Boxsets and Digital Photo Frames according to the website, so I guess not

I got my 2 BluRays from Sony this morning, not bad, only 16 days, probably would have been a couple of days quicker if it wasn't for the weekend in the way.

BluRay player in Xtravision is not included in the 15% off sale this week.

Is there still a shortage of these players around the country?
I've been waiting almost 2 weeks for them to get another one in my local store.

    Thanks guys.
I'd be into gaming alright but would be interested to know if the spec of the PS3 Bluray player is as good as the spec of the Bluray player in this offer?

Got the player there today from xtra vision.
Is there a way to register for the 2 free Blu Rays without opening the box?!! Like a link or something to register? Or is that possible without the S/N!!

Don't wana open it as its a present but I'd like to get the free discs in motion?!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 29,473 ✭✭✭✭Our man in Havana

You need the disk from the box and the serial number. So you have to open it. :(

Just got this deal in XtraVision in Douglas, Cork. They had one left on top of the per-orders so i picked it up. I got the 4 blurays in their retail boxes. Does anyone this the lack of DTS-HD MA onboard decoding is a problem? I see Mamma Mia is DTS-HD or DD 2.0 only. does this mean ill have to listen to the movie in DD 2.0? My amp has onboard decoding of the normal DTS, can that stream be got from DTS-HD?

For those like me having difficulty registering with Sony to receive the free Blurays. I contacted customer support who informed me they are having trouble with their web site (tell me something I didn't know) and that I should try to register again in a few days.

I have just bought the BDp-S350 from Xtra Vision & have recieved 4 free Blu-Ray discs with it but was told I could get the Dark Knight free if I registered online. I opened the box and use the register disc but was not given any options about what free dvd I wanted, no mention of DVD's at all, this normal?
