Must admit I am curious as to how my pic printed too. It's the Hapenny Bridge reflected in the Liffey

That's one of the ones that stood out for me (and for the record, it reminds me of Monet too).

Got my copy today in the post, don't have the page to hand but there appears to be a photo that looks like its supposed to be portrait but its in landscape its of waves and the sea, everything else seems fine and quality is pretty good :)

My mum sent me a text to say my books have arrived.
I just know she's at home, picking away at the packaging, so I'd better ring her to tell her she can open it up. :D

Eeep, sounds like my one. It's mean to be landscape, is it this image:

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/shorglin/2149216741/in/set-72157603582451550/

My one shipped on the 11th but still waiting for it, unless it's down at the reception and I haven't been notified. Hmmm...

Just to put the sales in perspective.

I was at a Martin Parr lecture recently and he was asked about book sales. "500 copies is an excellent sales number for a photograph related book".

    So well done all.

They've just landed here about 10 minutes ago :)
The delivery bloke is a boards user :) *waves*

We should all thank him for lugging that weight inside. Talking of which, I'll need help to carry them from car to launch site when the time comes - will be looking for two volunteers in the day. The boxes are a handy enough size - they're just bloody heavy.

Seems a little freeky no? :)

I wonder if they knew about it? Imagine their surprise when they see a huge stack of books to deliver on a Friday afternoon with Boards.ie on the front cover :)

It didn't say boards.ie on it, but he asked what Blurb was, so I told him what we were doing - he helped me open one of the boxes and I mentioned that it's on the top link of Boards :)

Did you sell him a copy???

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,344 ✭✭✭Thoie

I was thinking of it - I'd ordered two copies for myself - one for me, and one to use for advertising in a hotel (have attached one of the posters to it and will leave it lying around). I could have sold him one of my own, but decided to let him order himself :)

Hmmm...I wonder if he's reading this now but won't reply in case Thoie reveals his real identity !!!
