Boards Survivor II - Call for contestants

Ok, I think I should be ready to fire up the second Survivor: boards.ie contest in about a week or so. But first we need contestants. Based on an idea that Gordon and PowerHouseDan came up with, I'm going to ask anyone who wants to be a contestant in the competition to volunteer in this thread.

There are two simple requirements that the contestants must fulfill:
1 - they must not have taken part in the previous competition
2 - their post count must have been at least 150 at 7:00pm Irish Summer Time on 4th June 2006 (this is to stop people spamming just to become a contestant)

You have until 11:00pm on Friday 7th of June to state your interest.

At least 7 and no more than 9 contestants will be required. If more than 9 volunteer, all entries will be placed on an independant polling system run by PowerHouseDan and boards.ie members will vote for who they want the 9 contestants to be. In such an event, canvassing will disqualify (in other words spamming people with PMs/emails looking for votes).

Note that the rules of Boards Survivor II can change at any time and no refund will be provided. The last remaining survivor will win a prize along the lines of something like a CD-WOW voucher (maybe the admins would like to donate a subscription perhaps?).

For anyone who didn't experience the first Survivor competition, check out this thread to get an idea of what it's about.

Where possible, a parallel immunity challenge will be available for non-contestants to amuse themselves with and to see what is required of the survivors. Spot prizes for these "public" challenges may be given if circumstances allow.

That's about it - to summarize, if you want to take part say so in this thread.

As azezil pointed out I dont think some people have read the requirements, users having to have at least 150 posts. Not trying to be the bad guy or anything but rules are rules :)

    Sign me up too puhlease!

EDIT: Regarding the poll as there's definantly more than 9 people at this stage, isn't there's a bit of a catch-22 in that:

If it's private, people could vote for themselves (i guess it's only sacrificing one vote, but people who do the honest thing and don't vote for themselves could lose out based on that vote).

But if public, people in the poll will then be able to see who exactly voted for them and dismisses any anonymity the voter has.

It might make sense to have two public polls on here... and count numbers of votes in each one.
