was gifted an orange Twirl Easter egg. Growing up you’d always get a bar or two with an egg.

You get with this egg, one bar, which while not fun size, certainly isn’t full size but seeing advertisements online it’s certainly shown as a full sized way bigger bar the full width of the box almost ….

I have one of those - it’s made up for by the fact the egg is orange chocolate and absolutely gorgeous!!!

Is the Terry's Chocolate Orange one orange? 🍊

I was a television version of a person with a broken heart...

A roundabout with lovely shrubs and flowers, great for biodiversity and all that, but they completely block the view.

I was in the 6 o'clock position, the 2 other exits are at 9 and 12. So you have to try to time moving out when one car passes and hope another isn't about to come into view, cross your fingers and toes, floor the accelerator and take off like a Formula 1 driver.

Milk that was well in date but actually starting to turn sour spoilt my first coffee of the day. TA!

Had to have lots more coffee since to make up for that one that went down the sink.

Absolute Walter Mitty posters who seem to have hordes of adoring fans absolutely taken in by their nonsense.

Every day there's an article in the daily mail about Kanye going out with his wife

She is always wearing very tight revealing clothing that shows off her body

I doubt if the daily mail would bother putting up an article about Kanye going out if he was alone

Putting money in trollies but only Aldi. Just popped into town so wife said to get her some compost in Aldi. Had a euro on me and trolley tokens in the car but Aldi wants a €2 coin :-(

Then Aldi make your mind up. I know there is a lot of shrinkage in my local Aldi so they ask you to put everything on the till belt. This a pain with the big 2kg tins of dog food as I often by 24 at a time. Anyway today with the compost - 6 bags - I put one on the belt and the guy on the checkout said to put it back in the trolley and no need to put large itmes on the belt. I asked about buying a load of 2 kg tins of dog food and he said no need to put them on the belt either? Last time I was in the store the girl on the checkout insisted I put all 24 tins on the belt :-(

Wake me up when it's all over.

Had an issue with Sky Q before - tried online automated help, nothing - tried taking to someone on WhatsApp, clearly reading the same automated advice being read by someone in a call Centre - and still nothing - advice was “we will send you a new box” - bollocks to that.

I insisted on getting a phone number - spoke to a lovely Cork man, 6 minutes later - fixed!!

The robots will never take over!!! I realise that started off annoyed but ended happy!!

I hear ya . I might buy a small milk for a morning coffee and put it back in the fridge . After a few days it’s curdling in the coffee , though still well within its sell by date . I really don’t drink milk in anything else . Cereals I use water .

People who cannot admit they are wrong and go full psycho b*tch when they get caught out. While at the same time make it out they you are the one in the wrong all along. Some mental gymnastics they go through.

Staying in an apartment in Faro, it is really nice and clean etc, but F##k me is it loud..

I did ask for a quiet room away from the road…You might as well have the windows open to the noise of the road and bar outside…

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,913 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

Baz Ashmawy…. I don’t dislike the guy per say but why is he fûcking everywhere all of a sudden ? Like absolutely everywhere ?

He has been enabled with his own radio show, TV acting thing, DIY show… next… Baz’s.. ( insert random show )… in fact maybe what’s next is ‘Baz’s favourite Dublin bus journey’… “ Baz talks to commuters and shares fabulous four wheeled exposés and experiences with and on Irish commuters….”……. In typical Baz faux sincerity… “ so, you are off to visit your sons grave, why is that now, and before you answer that, you have a lovely, bunch of flowers there for him awhhhhhh “

I’d say if there were enough zeros on the cheque he’d present a series on “Baz, how I just grinned my way to the top.”

Something quite off and insincere about him, and plainly fûcking odd how much and how far RTÉ are pushing this lad, throwing work and opportunities at him, he ain’t too talented…. To be diplomatic, bizarre.

People with golf umbrellas in the city centre. Bonus asshole points if they're on their phone too and paying absolutely zero attention to where they're going/whose eyes they're almost putting out.

Bonus points if the end caps have broken off and they are waving pointy bits of metal in your face.

You know you're old when you sprain your jaw eating an easter egg. It was particularly thick in my defence but that it just a stupid way to hurt yourself. I'm ta'd at myself.
