No i said right wingers, you should understand that term more than most i would have thought

While its pedantic, don’t try to reinforce a remedial argument with immature right wing references, if you don’t understand the definition
Generally, the left-wing is characterized by an emphasis on "ideas such as freedom, equality, fraternity, rights, progress, reform and internationalism" while the right-wing is characterized by an emphasis on "notions such as authority, hierarchy, order, duty, tradition, reaction and nationalism"

People are fed up and I hope this inspires more protests or even better our useless government to do something other than more lockdowns.

    That’s some serious gymnastics

The attack on the Garda was a criminal offence, can’t be justified

    The protest overall seemed peaceful

I never mentioned attack on garda?

I never mentioned whether protest was peaceful or not?

I asked were you there because you are so against restrictions I thought you might have gone to protest

Lots of new posters on the thread today.

Nowhere to be seen for the last year.

Some lad throws a firework at a Garda and they're all over it like flies around a sh1t.

    Freedom fighters were they?

The association with scumbags is now in everyone's mind when it comes to so called protest.

    Nobody did it to them.

Just back from the protest. Had a great day out. Lots of people from all political persuasions, ethnicities and social classes. It Was great to see such a large turnout despite last minute Gardai attempts to stop it happening. The next one will be a lot bigger.

The Gardai seem to think these right wing protestors are "well organised" and "a threat to the state"

Seemed to me like a very diverse crowd. White, black, nationalist and shinner types all together.

Fabu D live streamed the event. You can get a better view of the crowd from that than the one picture you cherry picked.

Boggles can tell if someone has a job or not just by looking at them. That's some hyperbole.

Can ye go make a protests thread and stop clogging up this thread with such crap.

The protest was supposed to be about restrictions so very relevant to this thread in fairness

While you,re in favour of protests you have to admit that a lot of what were there were out to cause hassle for the Gardai , cameras at the ready to post up how the scum treat ordinary people!!

What's your solution to what the government are doing now? What would you do differently?
