And the owner had the good taste to not put a leaping cat on the bonnet.

Those later X Types look quite smart. Outside at least.

The double din unit really smartens up the interior on them IMO

The critics and purists will say its a Mondeo with a fancy body etc. but that X Type looks fantastic and your average Joe Soap won't see past the exterior. Would have one over your common as muck A4, 520d any day of the week.

Must have been owned by a mechanic (or a coal man!), that drivers seat is manky.

It's half leather rather than full

Nothing that a half decent detailer couldn't sort out. I had a similar interior in an Octavia and it looked much worse in pictures than in actuality.

Also, with just a couple of weeks of test left in it
A 2.5 ltr V6 X-Type estate, with suede/leather interior, €1950 and up for three months on the site.
The seller suggests it was a new NCT at the time, so maybe it'll pass easily?

It was discussed here as far back as February
Beautiful car, it started on Donedeal last year at about €4k

Bit of history to it that is not divulged in the ad...but a super bangernomics(ish) buy IMO

NCT til September 2020, tax til March 2020, Irish car, reasonably low miles, €1250

A bit out of the way up in Donegal but if I really needed something like this I would make the journey, this looks nice

That would be excellent for a learner, although taking along someone might be an idea. No car can take poor maintenance. Some things can be too good to be true.

Wow! I remember considering it before I ended up with the 330, I didn't realise it was THAT long ago. Same pics too so wonder what it actually looks like now.

I was considering it when I bought my IS250 in August 2018, so who knows when it went up before that!

Yup. It shows the on in picture 9 dash off in picture 10, and another car in picture 13.

Picture 9 shows a red light in the speedo, which I think means that the bonnet is open?

    Cheap family car for someone
Purchased by a Dealer on: 10/10/2020
Most recent Vehicle Registration Certificate issued on: 30/10/2020
So either "Gary" is a dealer trying to offload it without a warranty, or someone has very recently bought it, and trying to offload it quickly as there's something wrong with it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,828 ✭✭✭✭bazz26

Must have bought it for nearly nothing if they can make money off it by now selling it for €695.

Looks very abused and unloved. Even at that money.

Picture 10 is a manual Jag with satnav (probably the advertised car) , and picture 13 is an auto ford (? could be something else with an oval logo) with a crap radio w/o sat nav.

Not likely to give one a reason to call.
