Trade 112 - I tried to open an account, but they kept rejecting my documents so I had an 'ah here' moment and didn't complete.

Anyone else have experience using Trading 212? I actually used the demo before deciding to open a Degiro account as they did not appear to have as an extensive a list of stocks

I’m looking at investing in an etf called ‘betz’ from roundhill investments . It’s an etf that contains holdings of Sportsbook and gaming companies . Is it possible to purchase such an etf on DEGIRO as I can’t seem to find it on the search option?

If it doesn't have a kiid then it can't be bought in the EU. But drop degiro an email

I sent from AIB on Saturday ( standard not urgent ) and it was there Monday morning. Sent more late yesterday afternoon, it was there this morning.

        Possibly even quicker so.

Only downside is the .5% negative interest rate above €2.5k.

So if you have more than 2.5k sitting in cash there is a negative 0.5% or is it on any transfers above 0.5%?

Negative interest on balance as far as I know.

There's a small but not imperceptible pressure to trade :pac: But, it should not be a factor in an investment.

My last transfer was sent on a Thursday around 3pm and I wasn't expecting it to arrive until after the weekend but when I checked on Saturday it was there, so I'm guessing it arrived Friday afternoon.

It was from an N26 account.

Am having trouble with this new setup. I did a transfer from my bank account a couple of weeks back without realising I needed to have the new account set up. The transfer has not been returned to my bank account yet. Can anyone advise where the balance should be visible with the new flatex account..?

The balance showing for Flatex will show in the same place as you saw your other funds.

A separate issue is the non return of your funds. If already emailed, call them.

I know someone who mistakenly transferred funds to the old NL IBAN after setting up their Flatex DE account.

Since nothing had happened after a week, they emailed Degiro, and within another week the funds had been returned to their current account.

Transferred to the Flatex account at 11am yesterday. Didn't get an email but checked at 10am this morning and it was in my Degiro account. Happy enough with that turnaround. Lets hope for a red day today now :D

        https://www.degiro.ie/data/pdf/ie/commission-free-etfs-list.pdf

Are these worth thinking about as a first investment?
Or is "commission free" not a big deal ?
