    Was in Tesco Cabra at lunch, they don't have 24x330ml bottles Peroni for €25.
    They said it's not even showing up as an inventory item, did pick up 12x330ml bottles Peroni for €15 though.

    ALDI have Jameson for €20.

    Super Valu have Roe & Coe for €30.

    All these whiskey offers should tell you it's also time to pickup a Father's Day card \ expect to receive one.

    Lidl didn't have the 8 cans for tenner of Guinness. Said they never got them in. The Guinness glasses went first thing as well.

    Tesco had 24 cans of Guinness for €30 so got sorted.

    Yes 2 glasses, they also have Guinness beer mats on sale for those missing the pub.

    Assuming next January's restrictions extend to the use of spend & save vouchers for purchasing alcohol (I've yet to get a definitive answer on this, one way or the other), the current spate of whiskey offers is an opportunity to make hay while the sun shines!

    On that note, I picked up bottles of Green Spot (€45.60 after all discounts) and Teeling Small Batch (€26.40) in Dunnes. The Teeling comes with a complimentary distillery tour which I think is a very nice touch.

    I've yet to come across any Peroni brewed in UK being sold here and i've bought and checked every box since I was made aware of it. The 24 pk i bought was brewed in Bari and is clearly identified on the box.

    Got stung by the moretti though, knew there was something off about the 12pk bottles taste compared to the 660ml only for someone here to say it about the UK licensed brewing.

    Can't speak for the 12 pack but the 24 pack I picked up last night is from the Bari brewery. I was wary of that as well when going for the 24.

    No notion of the quality of it, intend to educate myself ASAP...

    My only problem with black barrel is that it disappears too quick in my house! 30 euro is a great price, comes up every couple months in Tesco it seems.
